So far, so awesome!
I just finished putting this together and wanted to say a couple things before I put my LO in this, after she's done with her nap. I'll update this with anything else that stands out, after using it. She's just over 12mo. She's fairly short and pretty chunky. She wears size 24mo pants, but I have fold the legs up and waist down. She just has big thighs and bum. Putting it together may not be super simple for everyone and it's about 10% figuring some stuff out, with a learning curve. But, it was easy enough. Someone mentioned the pedals and clicking them in all the way is what makes them engage and able to spin the front wheels. Totally correct. But, I had a slight issue with one of my pedals engaging, until I didn't, and now it's fine adjusting it in and out. -You have to turn the wheel just right before they engage.- My 4-year-old tried it as a trike on the carpet and it was difficult for him. However, 1. we're on soft carpet, 2. it's the first time he's ever pressed pedals, since he's only ever used balance bikes. I tried it and the pedal radius is very small. But, it's a trike. We won't know until my LO is old enough to try. Just in case, though, it's a good thing she technically doesn't need them, as long as her feet can touch the ground when she's older. UPDATE: With the pedal radius being so small, my 4y-o had a hard time learning to push them, on the tile floor. He'd never done it before, though. I tried it and can see how it might be hard for a LO who is used to a balance bike. I can pedal them. I think it's a matter of practice since you can't pedal by pushing with the same pressure in each foot, at the same time. It's been so long, I hadn't put any thought into the fact that you push pedals left-right-left-right.... Lol The canopy is GREAT quality! It seemed like it didn't cover much. Then, I found the front bottom is folded up in it. You just reach in underneath the front of the canopy and unfold it. -UPDATE: For my LO, the canopy is useless unless the sun is directly overhead, which it's not in Dec. It might work better when she's taller, but then she won't be in stroller mode. I have her sitting on the higher of the two seat levels, too. -UPDATE: The only thing I wish this bike had are holes for the pedals to use in the existing foot rest, as an extension foot rest. -Even better would be holes in the foot rest that can be used as a foot rest OR engage the pedals. But, that would probably require a bike chain? I don't know. I saw a picture of someone who got this and said it's too small for their 2 or 3-year-old. Their seatbelt wasn't in the largest position, their seat wasn't raised, the handlebar didn't look raised. But, who knows? They only showed a picture of the trike. My 4yo is the height of a typical 5-6yo. He's skinny. But, he fit on it just fine, before I put the safety bar, canopy, and seat-back on. He climbed in it just fine after I put all of that stuff on. -UPDATE: My 12m-o fits in the seatbelt perfectly. I do have to have the seatbelt on the large slot in the seat, which is what I figured. She's got the same size bum as her 4y-o brother. But, she's got the biggest one I've ever seen on a baby. Lol I kept the chest straps a little loose so she wasn't pinned against the backrest. Not too loose, though. And, I made the waist straps perfectly snug. I bought this because of the videos people attached. It hasn't disappointed, except for the canopy. But, the mechanics of it all is perfect, exactly what I was looking for. The whole setup, in pink, is SO adorable for a girl. I never considered one of these for my boys. But, I'm sure any color is adorable for boys and girls. - UPDATES: -The safety bar can raise, for whatever reason. Maybe for collapsing it, which I haven't tried. -I went with my 12m-o on a dirt path, part of it had large rocks mostly flattened into the dirt. We also had to go across a desert-gravel area. I had no problems pushing her on any terrain, so far. -I hung my very, heavy purse on my steering handles. It didn't tip backwards and it didn't hinder my steering, at all. -It works like a stroller when going up or down a regular 90⁰ curb. We also have the rounded curbs. You just don't want to go too fast, those curbs are jolting in anything, including cars. -The canopy is in the way, I can't see my LO when pushing her with it open OR closed. I'm just going to remove it. I'll just put her in her sun hat. And, it's too hot here to go for walks when the sun is directly above us, in the summer. I'm in Arizona. **I've attaching photos of the three types of terrain that we just went on.**

Great looking and easy to put together
This is a great baby tricycle. It went together so easily and feels like good quality. Due it being a late fall, gift we have not tried it outside yet. My granddaughter likes to sit in it and get pushed around the basement. The pedals attach really easily. I like that it is easy to steer and is quiet. I recommend this tricycle.
