Candle smells great and burns well, no sputtering or throwing off black smoke. The only thing is it was mislabeled for the scent. The lid says lavender (which I'm not a fan of but got any way) but it smells totally different for me, that's a win. But if you really want lavender, that might pose an issue.

Great Candle with a light lavender smell. Not overwhelming

I got this for my girlfriend as our 1 year anniversary gift and she really liked it!The lavender scent smells very nice, though I believe this is all just a matter of preference. Do note it doesn't smell like the typical strong lavender but more on a lighter sweeter side. So even if you have it lit for hours, the room doesn't smell super strong or anything. You'll smell it when you walk past and the room overall has a super subtle sweet scent but hardly recognizable. So this candle would be perfect for those that gets headaches from strong smells like perfumes like my partner and I do. We haven't had any headaches from this candle so far so that's been great!The size is pretty small, fits in your palm. The lid is a twistable cap which is easy to open. We had it lit on for a few hours and it used up a fourth of it as per picture. I don't like how the candle wax on the sides don't get used up but I notice a lot of candles are like this unfortunately...But we both love this candle overall! Just wish it was a bigger. I feel like if we use it everyday, we will use it up for sure within a week.

My 1st Year Wedding Anniversary is coming up in early January and saw this 1st Anniversary candle and had to get it for my husband. He loves candles as much, if not more than I do. I know he will love this and the message is playful and fits our humor perfectly. “One Year Down Forever to Go”. The candle scent is Lavender and their mix of essential oils is spot on. It’s a soy based candle which is one of the best clean burning vegetable waxes also known for long burn times. It made from 100% soy per the sellers description so it’s an eco friendly wax that is completely renewable and sustainable. The lavender scent is prevalent but not overpowering. The wax is white so no dye has been added. I haven't given the candle to him yet so I can’t speak quite yet on the burn time. It comes well packaged with foam packing surrounding the entire candle and comes in a sturdy gift box. A great gift for your other half as you celebrate your 1st Year of marriage.

It lasts a pretty long time. The smell is not the strongest but it is ok.
