Love the way it locks in the heel and ankle.
There are a lot of things that go into a shoe feeling comfortable. I don't want my toes cramped, and that is generally not a problem. The problem for me centers around the ankle and heel. A lot of shoes are not padded enough around the ankle, and it catches me right under the ankle bone. I can't wear a shoe like that. For the heel, it is the heel slipping when you walk. These shoes are top notch at dealing with all of those problems. The ankle and tongue area are very padded, so there is no hard edge to hurt your ankles. When you tie them up, they are locked in. The ankle is very secure and comfortable, and the heel doesn't budge. That goes a long way towards being a comfortable shoe for me. The laces are a part of this equation. They have little silicone nubs about every half inch, and when you pull them tight, they stay put. No backsliding while you are tying them. The same nubs keep your shoe tied pretty well. The square toe part is a little harder to judge. Part of the claim is it allows your toes to spread more naturally. With the original insoles, I actually found that they felt a little restrictive around the little toe area. I wear orthotics, so I compared my insole with the Squairz insole. Squairz was wider at the end of the shoe, but actually narrower around the little toe area. My orthotic is fairly rigid, so when I inserted it in the shoe, it expanded that area a little. With my orthotics, these are a great feeling shoe. Tight around the heel and ankle with zero slippage or pain, and roomier around the toes. I really like that combination. The original insole is pretty thin, and not much of an arch. Walking around the house, it didn't feel very cushioned. However, when you are on turf, that is a non-issue. As far as traction goes, I would give them a good, but not great score. When I played in heavy dew, the spikeless part of the soles quickly filled up with grass clippings. That eroded traction. On my dryer rounds, that didn't happen. I honestly like the amount of traction. My feet slide a little during my swing, and shoes that grab really hard sometimes cause me a problem. Hard for me to say how much the square toe affected much other than roominess. My swing is not that fine-tuned, but maybe a little better balance when you are up on your back foot toes at the end of the swing? I will have to leave that judgement to others. Sizing runs a little large. I normally wear size 12, but their sizing tool recommended size 11.5. At first, I thought they may be a little small, but that feeling went away when I inserted orthotics and got out on the course. They were very comfortable from the first round on. So, these are a very comfortable shoe, with a fit I really like. I was mildly skeptical at first, but square toe or not, these felt great out on the course. I have another golf shoe that is really comfortable for me, but these kicked them to the curb.

Comfortable, look better than expected, run large
I've seen the ads for Sqairz on TV and social media, and while intriguing, I couldn't get over the fact that I thought the shoes looked clunky and not very attractive. When I saw these, however, they seemed a little less "retired person" than normal and closer to "aging but denying I'm getting old" person. I typically wear Adidas or G/Fore golf shoes, so that is my basis for comparison. First off, putting these on they look better than I thought they would. The square toe isn't so out of place that you stare at it. Once you put them on and start swinging, you don't notice the shoes at all, in a good way. They are comfortable, they provide stability, and I like the look of this particular shoe. The colors and pattern look great to me. It hit about 30 shots into my net and they felt like a great pair of golf shoes. Now, as for their claims on higher swing speed, ball speed, etc., well, I didn't see it on my launch monitor. I also have pretty good balance and swing the driver at 105+, so perhaps those claims are geared more toward lower swing speeds and people who aren't well-balanced. I saw the same speeds and the like with these on as I did with my Adidas. I also find the shoelaces a bit odd as they have sticky nubs on them every 1/2" or so. Now, this is AMAZING for keeping your shoes tied. There is no way they are coming untied unless you do it purposefully. However, those nubs make tying your shoes and pulling them tight via the laces a bit difficult. You have to pull the laces tight at each eyelet, you can't do it as you are tying and have it reach the right tightness. As for sizing, I'm not sure where they came up with their G/Fore estimate, but I think it caused some confusion and made me choose the wrong size. Their Adidas/Nike estimate is probably the one to use. I wear 10.5 US in Adidas or Nike. I have 3-4 pairs of each, and I'm a 10.5. According to the sizing chart I should get a 10 in Sqairz. However, I wear an 11 in G/Fore. The chart says G/Fore and Sqairz are the same sizing. I was going to order these in size 10, but I went with 10.5 because of the chart and I think the Sqairz I got in 10.5 are a touch big. 10 would probably be the proper size for me. I'd probably order these a 1/2 size smaller than your normal shoe, which is because the square toe gives you the freedom a normal angled toe box does not provide.

Great buy
This is the first time I have purchased an unknown brand of shoes but I love them. They fit great and and are very comfortable.
