Good for trail cams
I now have three trail cams on my property, and each takes eight AA batteries, so I decided some time ago that 6V adapters are much more efficient, less expensive after just a month or two, more reliable, and less susceptible to extreme weather than 24 batteries every month or two!The third cam is a new addition so I needed a new adapter. This one is excellent and reasonably priced, works with all three of my cams because of the barrel size (3.5 mm/1.35 mm ) and the wattage, and I don’t have to worry that I’ll miss important shots or that downloading images over WiFi will drain the camera. There’s a plus and a minus. The plus is that it comes with an attachment for a wider barrel, should you need it. The minus is a mixed bag: the plug is horizontal not vertical. (See photo.) Now, for many indoor applications, especially multi outlets and extension cords, this is a positive feature and not a “bug” because it doesn’t take up two plug receptacles. However, I plug my adapters into outdoor outlets, which are narrow and have have hinged, hard plastic covers over them. So this extends too far down (or up) on such outlets for the covers to close.Life is basically workarounds, though, so I swapped this with another of my adapters, which is in a larger plastic cable protecter box. So be aware of where you intend to use this. That aside, it seems like a good adapter for trail cams.

Worked very well for what I bought it for.
The battery compartment of my grandson's DJ machine got all crusty and corroded and stopped working, but he liked the toy and it cost like 60 bucks. This thing fixed this up nice. Thank you!

Works great. No issues.
Took it out of the box, plugged it into my trail camera and it took it from there. I have new rescue cats and I wanted to see how they were doing in my tack room because I rarely see them. Batteries ran out before I got all the photos I wanted, so this solved the issue.
