Nice solid bit
Have to touch up the edges often. It dulls easily. I turns the speed down on my lathe and it still gets dull after about 10 inches of boring through hard wood. But it’s way to touch up the edges with sand paper.

Just what i needed
I have a door jeg that requires a 1" drill bit. I don't like to use a spade bit so i found this on Amazonits long enough to do the job. Great Drill bit.

Nice cut
I like the fact that it doesn't grab the wood. It made a nice smooth hole without blowing out the backside of the hole. I would absolutely buy this bit again if I needed a different size.

Easy cut
Chewed through the wood like butter.

How long is this supposed to last?
I'm just not sure how long these are supposed to last. I have bits from 15 years ago. I got this bit to drill 6" deep holes in a tree trunk. After 6 holes this was so dull it was unusable. But it worked fine up until then.

Not expensive and sharp - plus it stays sharp for a very long time.
This is the sharpest drill bit I have ever used. For the price it is unbeatable.
