This story was of Gyldan [an angel born into slavery and Brit [who was a human and there to take him to Earth]. I will say you will have to keep up with this story because there will be a lots of twist where the reader will find that on Gyldan's flights of discovery from Anachrys to Earth as he will suffers from the uncertainly as well as the acceptance of the truth. I like the description of how this author delivers a wonderful description of Gyldan running from the castle, with a horrible winter landscapes upon them as they are on there way to the portal to Earth which happens to be Miami. Having been treated so horribly in Anachrys as a slave and now being treated with great reverence was somewhat mystifying for Gyldan and learning just who his rescuer was that brought him to Earth was quite interesting. As Gyldan is now in a new world and seems to have lost his memory and will have to learn and get help from his new friends. What will happen as "Gyldan is bent on experiencing his newfound powers unmindful of the harm to Brit or the others."

Ordinarily I am not one to, choose fantasy fiction--however, due to a fascination with angels, when Gylded Wings came my way, I accepted the offer. I've read and reviewed Ms. Nightingale's work in the past and liked it very much. I was pleased to see this one surpasses the rest. Gyldan and Brit together are a hoot to "read". The differences, in thought processing, customs and mores are vast, but they come together on an all together different plane and are a pure pleasure to read.If you love fantasy--and angels, fallen or otherwise--this is the book for you!Kat Henry Doran, Wild Women Reviews

“Gylded Wings” is a wonderful paranormal romance that kept me glued to my seat from the first page to the last. I fell in love with Gyldan and his fall from grace and stayed on an emotional rollercoaster right along with him until the end of the book. This book is well-written and the storyline is so intriguing. This is a good book to curl up with in the evening.I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
