I'll be honest, I used this for a costume. But I purposely chose this bow and arrow set because I wanted something I could use more than once. (I definitely want to actually use this bow and arrow for reals when I get the chance.) It seems very sturdy and looks really great. Worked perfectly for my costume and should be fun to actually play with!

First of all the quality of this Archery was far better than I expected.. The price for craftsmanship was far better.. I used to have one set when I was young but then I lost interest but then I wanted to stared again but some was too expensive and I wanted man made.. This was so awesome and all the details. I truly recommend this brand.. we should support more hand made items.. Thank you for taking pride to make this archery..

I got this bow and arrow set for my daughter, who is 9 years old, to learn how to shoot a bow. It's a nice size for her and she is able to draw the bow all the way back with no problem. The arrows are nice and seems to be made from a type of carbon material. The tips of the arrows are not real sharp but still sharp enough to go through hay or cardboard. The one issue I have with this bow is it doesn't have an arrow rest on it. You must use your hand to rest the arrow on and sometimes this makes the arrow fly off target. Other than that, this bow is beautiful and nicely made. The forearm guard is kind of small and really isn't useful because of how small it is. The string of the bow has rubber finger holds that help a child to grip the string without cutting into their fingers. That is a nice addition. Overall, I think this bow and arrow is a good quality product and I would recommend it to anyone wanting to teach their children how to shoot a bow and get them used to the feel of a bow in their hands.

I've been looking for a bow to edit for a costume, and I was getting really frustrated trying to find one that wasn't too much $$$ because it's for a costume piece but also didn't look like it was made for six-year-olds. Finally I stumbled on this, which to my joy is an ACTUAL bow, with actual structure so I can pull back on the string etc, but doesn't break the bank. Can't wait to Vox Machina it up.

I got this for my granddaughter, who has been interested in archery since a small kid. Now she's using it for both archery and cosplay, as the bow is covered with simulated dragon scales. It gives the bow, and the set a fantasy edge to it, which should intrigue kids of all ages, boys or girls. The set works with several of the characters she portrays.

THis bow is beautiful, and very sturdy. It was a gift for a young man who it has helped to feel more confident in himself and his ability to do something a little more grown up. It's an excuse to be outdoors and away from a screen.

I ordered this bow and arrow set as a birthday gift. But I decided that the child was still too young, so I put it away for the next birthday. When I finally opened it, I discovered that it contained no arrows. Unfortunately, Kainokai has no online presence, and Amazon Customer Service told me they had no contact information. I don't think Amazon should carry the products of companies who cannot be contacted about a defective product. Had I known, I would have selected a different maker, which is what I advise you to do.

Purchased as a birthday gift for my 10yr old daughter after a visit to GreenWood Family Park, where she couldn't get enough of the archery.It really is a beautiful looking bow!! So makes an excellent gift. Came well packaged and already strung, so set to shoot straight away.We've been shooting with it quite a bit over the dry months and it's been really great. The set comes with everything you need and the bow shoots a good distance, with an easy draw for kids.Can't recommend enough.

I really like this now and am surprised that it feels very similar to my more expensive Jahangir bow. I am small (5ft) and have no muscles so had to downgrade from 30lb to this one to work on my form. It's a lovely bow. One star for arrows which go off in all directions and seem wonky. I use carbon ones instead and it works great

Bought it for myself to use in the garden it is a great starter bow but dont give it to anyone under 16 unless there very mature as it can be dangerous the arrows are sharp 2 broke fairly quickly but the customer service is great they refunded me enough to get some new arrows the bow is strong and love the dragon design very unique i would by another bow if the made some in different colours.

The media could not be loaded. This bow and arrows is not for children!I thought this would be a great thing for my kids to play with so I was shocked when it arrived. The bow is taller than both my children at nearly 4ft. The arrows are huge aswell and they have steel tips! You could seriously hurt someone if you dont know what you are doing with this.This feels like the sort of bow a beginner archer would use.The craftsmanship is incredible and it's so strong! Make sure to use the provided arm guard as I didnt when I tried it out and got a nasty bruise when I released the bow string.Holding this makes you feel like Aloy from the horizon games, which is an amazing feeling!But.. I cant stress enough that this should not be advertised as a childrens or even teens bow and arrow. Nonetheless, it is well worth the cost as it has superior design and craftsmanship.
