Super moisturizing face wash
Super moisturizing yet cleans everything off the face?? Amazing. Super gentle, I use this when I have little incoming breakouts at night and in the morning it’s always practically gone.

Not my cup of tea
It was not working for me. I tried it for a while but I felt like it dried out my face and didn’t fully feel refreshed. I have sensitive (oily on cheeks and nose) eczema skin.

So hydrating and soothing!
I’ve been using this cleanser for about two weeks now and it’s so hydrating. My skin doesn’t feel stripped or dry after using this and my skin barrier has improved. Also it smells so good. It’s very soothing as well definitely would recommend!

Wonderful Product
I am elderly and have sensitive skin that is on the dry side. I have also had several basal cell skin cancers removed due to many years of sun exposure but have learned to be careful and now wear sunscreen regularly. Although I wash my face with a cleanser, it does not exfoliate. My dermatologist recommended that I try a product that did, but I must confess to being a bit frightened of these products. I have read they can sting or burn, and I have been unwilling to try something that will further irritate my face. I figure it has had enough irritation with the painful surgeries I have endured. Then, I saw this product and decided to be brave. After receiving it, I actually contemplated not trying it. I put some on the inside of my wrist to see what would happen, and pretty much nothing happened to my wrist. My nerves, however, were another issue. Then, I got brave and am very happy I did.My Dr. Althea Green Relief Amino Gel Cleanser arrived in a lovely, sealed box that displayed instructions on how to use it as well as precautions. Although the product was manufactured in Korea, it contained enough information in English, including a complete list of ingredients, that made me comfortable with it. An expiration date of 10/4/2026 appeared on the bottom of the box. I have also learned, after having the opportunity to try a number of them, that products from Korea are of excellent quality. The tube of gel, also sealed, is of simple design and seems to me to have a light herbal fragrance. It, too, lists the expiration date. I followed the instructions, putting a small amount of the gel on my hands and then mixed it with enough water to create a lather prior to massaging my face and neck with it. I then rinsed thoroughly with warm water, patted my face dry, and followed that with rosewater toner and a moisturizer. I did not notice any irritation but did notice that my face had been washed clean. I can only liken it to a clarifying shampoo, after which my hair is left squeaky clean. There is no residue remaining from that or from this gel cleanser. All residue from other products and environmental particulates were removed prior to my spraying on my rosewater toner. Apparently, my dermatologist feels exfoliation is good for my skin and may help reduce some instances of precancerous lesions, which I have also had removed on numerous occasions. I am very happy I discovered Dr. Althea Green Relief Amino Gel Cleanser and now know I have nothing to fear, at least from this particular product. I plan to continue to use it and look forward to telling my dermatologist about my new discovery and how it seems to agree with my skin. I am also happy to recommend it to anyone who, like me, is looking for a product that will provide complete cleansing and exfoliation without irritation.

Removes makeup but takes a couple of washes
I do not use a separate makeup remover as my mascara is not waterproof and I don't want an extra step. This cleanser did remove my makeup but I need to wash twice. If you don't wear foundation or mascara, I would recommend the product.

No Irritation But Dry Skin Feels Tight▪️Good To Clarify As Needed▪️May Be Good Daily Wash For Others
I have dry, sensitive, mature (55+) skin. Dr. Althea Green Relief Amino Gel Cleanser is a nice face wash that leaves my skin feeling really clean without irritation. Given my dry skin, I tend to use creamy, balmy and oil based hydrating cleansers, while this is a gel cleanser that lathers more and doesn’t leave my skin feeling as hydrated as my favorite cleansers. Their site describes this as suitable for dry, sensitive skin and also normal to oily skin, but it seems best for the latter (or combination skin) for those who want to use it as a daily cleanser. While I wouldn’t say this cleanser is overly drying to my skin, I do notice that my skin feels a little tight and just doesn’t feel quite as hydrated and comfortable (even after applying serum and cream) as when I use my usual non foaming creamy and balmy cleansers. This cleanser seems more clarifying than what I typically use daily, and I do think my dry skin would feel too tight and get dry if I used it daily. But I like using it a couple times a week or as needed to clarify my skin. 4 stars. Made in Korea.
