Comfortable, practical, and affordable
I just finished putting this chair together. I'm a little old lady with a bad back, and I did it by myself. It took about an hour, but I was working slow. The assembly instructions are in one of the pockets of the arm pieces. They are pretty easy to follow and the pictures are helpful.1) Foot supports: The seat piece is the heaviest, but I tipped it up onto the footrest side and was able to easily attach the little foot support parts (no tools necessary).2) Arm pieces: I put the feet back on the floor to attach the arms. The arm pieces are not too heavy. You have to line up metal pieces and slide the arms down into place. It's hard to see to get everything lined up, but once you position it right, it slides into place easily. You don't have to force anything or use strength.3) Connect cable from arm: There is a cable on the right arm that connects at next to the motor (bottom of chair). It's hard for me to bend all the way down to floor level (little old lady, remember?), so I tipped the chair forward onto the footrest side again to connect the cable from the arm. While I was at it, I connected the power cable that is right next to it.4) Attach the back: The back slid into place very easily. I had trouble figuring out how to hook up the red and white cables that make the heat and massage functions work, because it was hard to reach, but I figured out a trick. Once I plugged the power cables into the wall, and test drove the recline and power lift features, I left the chair in a raised position once I was standing. This lifts the chair and the cables in the back into a position that was much easier for me to reach. I was able to get everything connected and smooth down the flap in the back very easily.5) Recline function: Another commenter thought it was too slow, but I think it's fine. Not too fast, not too slow. You can stop it at whatever point is comfortable for you, which is nice.6) Massage and heat functions: Maybe in the winter I will be more interested in the heat function, but it's 97F at the moment, so... I did turn on the heat button, but I didn't feel any temperature difference at all in the 15 seconds I tested it. The light on the controller did go on so I guess it probably works (???) but I'm not interested enough to test it further today. When I turned on the massage function the lights on the controller turned on and I could feel vibrations in the chair. I am not super impressed with either of these functions, but it's not important to me at all, so I really don't care.7) Cupholders: I've never had a chair with built-in cupholders, so I'm not sure how useful they will be.8) The look: it is simple and functional. I got the brown color, which is a dark matte faux leather. It's boring and looks like if something spills on it then it should clean up easily. I like that.9) Durability: My only concern is about durability. The faux leather looks decent, but will it hold up to scuffs and scratches? I don't know. I will try to remember to comment in a few weeks or months to let you know how it goes.I wanted something affordable and comfortable. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase.

Comfortable for Average Height
I am a 6'2" woman and this chair is too short. My feet hang over the foot support. The foot support doesn't go up as high as I think it should. Lower than my last chair. LOVE the heat, massage and ease of putting the foot support up and down. The back is tall for us tall folk. Wish it was a wall hugger, right it was but is not. It's a sold chair worth the money!

Tears easily at seams, poor quality
The seams tear easily. Keep that in mind if considering purchase. The seams started coming apart at 4 months, with normal use. The weight range of people that use the chair are 125-200lbs. Our other recliners have lasted several years. The quality of this one is very disappointing. I would be extremely happy with the purchase if it were not for the seam issue. The chair is comfortable. The cushions are supportive but soft. Controls for reclining work well. Massage is just a light vibrate but that was expected. I bought it for the high quality appearance, the comfort factor, and reclining feature. The chair is way too expensive to only last 4 months.

Blessed comfort
We just received our chair today and it took my 85-year-old hubby approx. 64 minutes to assemble. It wasn't hard to do but did take a little more time than 5 minutes. For a while, we weren't able to locate the instructions but finally found them tucked into one of the armrest pieces. I just tried the remote and everything is working fine and the heat is nice and warm. I don't think the massage works as well as the vibration. All the settings seemed to vibrate more than massage and that's OK. Vibration is a good thing, and I like the fact that it is set up to do the back, lumbar, thighs and legs. The intensity can be high or low as well. Hopefully, everything will continue to operate as it should. I am 4'11" tall, and I like the fact that only my feet hang over the edge and the seat is wide enough for me to be able to rest both arms beside me if I wish. I plan to use this chair to sleep in as needed as I have COPD and suffer from pain as well.

It’s ok
The chair looks somewhat high quality. It has a metal frame that’s super heavy. There is a few things that is wrong with it. The foot rest is really short. I’m 6’2 and my feet and legs hang off at least a 1 foot. The “massage” is really just vibrations. The back is not that tall which I don’t really mind. However the heating feature is really nice and the cushion of the chair itself is also pretty comfortable besides the foot rest issues. But with it having a 500lb weight capacity supposedly and with it not being to pricey. It’s one of those things where you get what you pay for. I’m just glad I got the 2 year warranty because I don’t see it lasting that long.

Ease of use and comfort
It was challenging to put together for an old man but it was worth it. My wife has dementia and the chair makes it easy to get her in the chair. It very comfortable. The chair can also give you massage using a. controller with various massage options. The raising and lowering of the chair is done by electric motor by using a button on the side of the chair. Very pleased and the price was reasonable

very comfortable but reclines very slowly
It's a good value for the money, but didn't work for me. The reclining button is on the side rather than on a remote. My 94 year old father has trouble finding the button and it moves so slow he never really puts it up or down far enough. It was dangerous for him trying to slide out of the chair so I had to get another model
