Martingale and Company Books, Amigurumi at Home Paperback – June 10, 2014

Yet another awesome book of brilliant creations by the Amigurumi queen Ana Paula Rimoli. I love the graduation of maturity in this book compared to her others. This one is by far the most "grown up" of all her children's pattern books. The tooth fairy pillow is perhaps the most adorable project in this book of many! Loved it! Easy to follow, clear, concise patterns.

I have yet to make any of these but I love this book. It is very easy to follow and I love how it tells you exactly how much yarn to use. These designs are really cute and I can't wait to try them out for myself.

There are so many adorable patterns in this book and they are all easy to follow!

This book has an amazing selection of really unique patterns, there isn't a single granny square to be found. But there is a cupcake rug, a tooth pillow, a robot pajama holder, and a ton of other absolutely adorable projects.The book is really well designed and the patterns are all very clear and easy to read. Some of the projects have felt embellishments and there are templates for them. The templates are all to size and nothing needs to be enlarged which I definitely appreciate.Amigurumi at Home has a really great variety of projects and they all feel very new and unique. I also appreciate when a book has a clear resource section. It's always nice to have information about crochet hooks and yarn weights right in the book so you can reference it easily. The projects are bright and colorful and while they are perfect for children, they would also be fun for adults too! Who says adults can't have a dinosaur rug in their house?

Tons of great projects for kids’ rooms. Rugs, pj holders, baskets, foot warmers, and pillows (including a pillow to put their tooth in for the tooth fairy). While there is not difficulty rating listed, I’m going to say most of these are beginner to advanced beginner because the patterns use single crochet with increasing and decreasing for the shaping. My first impression when I opened this book was, “Awww….”. While I don’t make too many ami items, I find these adorable. They’re useful and practical, with that cute ami look. I really want to make the cupcake rug! ….and maybe even the tooth fairy pillow. As always Martingale has included tons of resources and extras beyond the patterns themselves. There is stitch help, resourses, and tips to just name a few.

Niedliche, kleine Amigurumi? Naja, zum Teil. In diesem Buch sind die abgebildeten Modelle oftmals doch schon sehr groß! Das ist nicht schlimm und man hat sehr viel zu tun! Die Anleitungen sind aber in englischer Sprache. Sollte das kein Problem sein kannst du bedenkenlos zuschlagen.

I was excited to get this book at start some of the projects.I knew a little girl who would love the tooth fairy pillow.Remember that the instruction are in american crochet stitches so check out a conversion chart so you don't get confused.Arrived promptly and was exactly what I thought it would be.These are easy projects for beginners but you could also customise some of the designs to suite your tastes or the tastes of little people :-)but I think every sofa needs a cloud pillow, don't you ?

Great book, with easy to follow patterns. Uses American terms, but straight forward to convert. Lovely finished products.
