593553-001 Laptop Battery Compatible with HP - MU06 (Long Life)

My eight year old Pavilion dv5 needed a new battery and an exact replacement is no longer available from HP. There is an endless assortment of this type of battery (MU06) available online. I choose this particular unit because the product description and specs were well written and unambiguous and because the price was reasonable. After a few weeks of usage this battery appears to be an excellent choice. It installed with ease and the performance is as good as or better than the original factory battery. I am beyond totally satisfied, have zero regrets and recommend it without hesitation.

I received this battery with a 50% charge and am currently charging it up to 100%. So far it is charging up fairly quickly and is performing well, and I believe it will have excellent performance in further usage. So far, I am very please with item and I recommend this battery and seller.

It was delivered in time and it fit the computer it was purchased for.

It works good , for some reason my computer still dies with the battery in it even when it is half charged.

The battery charged fast and keeps charge long. Best battery replacement I have had and can not beat the price.

Battery was shipped and received in a timely fashion. I have used the battery for several days now and it charged up quickly and seems to be functioning well.

I havent had a working battery in my old HP laptop for years and years,, found this product, price was great, ordered and delivery was next day, snapped it in and machine powered right up , battery came fully charged. Am very happy so far,, I havent yet tested to see how long a charge will last ,, but at this point all is great

I purchased a battery from this company. Started having issues with the recharge rate. They stepped up immediately and shipped out a new replacement. No questions asked.did not even want the faulty unit returned. In my books that is great customer service! Thank you Nancy for your awesome customer service.

After multiple attempts at charging this battery it goes dead after 10 minutes. When opening the packaging that the battery arrived in it was obvious that the packaging had been opened previously and an attempt had been made to retape the cellophane bag and the box that it came in. Possibly a faulty product return from a previous customer that was then resold to myself.

Bought one of these batteries. Worked great, about 2 hours on a charge. Loved it, bought 2 more. As soon as the return window ended 2 of the 3 batteries had failed to the point the laptop no longer recognizes them. Still like the one battery which works, but considering I had to buy 3 in order to get one that works six months out, the quality is questionable.
