Disappointed with changes
I have purchased several of these over the years. I use one almost every night. I have been pleased with them. (I am a hard users on them, and they eventually wear out, but I have always been satisified with the length of time the product lasted, and always pleased enough that I got a replacement. I did not rate previous purchases, but they would have been 5 stars. I had a problem with one, but Amazon replaced it.I have to rate the latest purchase at 3 stars because they have changed the product, and it no longer fits my needs.1. It now vibrates (which in and of itself is great), but it is now thicker than it used to be.2. The deep-kneading massage used to be a smooth, continious movement. Now, it is "jerky", which I do not find relaxing.I much prefer the older version. I will not buy this version again.

Game Changer!
I should have got one years ago. Definitely worth the money. Just find the tight spot and let it go. I would recomend starting on the upper back and work your way down for first time users. Don't lean into it with all your weight and turn it on, It might grind something in a not so good way. I liked the strong motor and fact that the heat option is separate mode. Because, my doctor recommended ice only no heat. This is great for that. Only thing is, no reverse rotation.

Poor workmanship for a well known company!!
i have purchased 4 of the massager witht the brown trim and they lasted about 3 years each. This time I bought the one with the black trim and it lasted 4 months. Contacted the company regarding the problem with this item and it has been 3 weeks and still no replay after sending them all the information they needed. Don't know why one machine with brown/tan trim works great and the black trim doesn't. However, regardless of how they work, VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!! If they are not going to replace or fix after short time of use, at least reply with that instead of totally ignoring the customer. Was very happy with the product, but not so much with the company! They must not realize, poor customer service does affect their business!!!

Pretty strong
Let it be known that I abuse the heck out of these things. I will lean my full weight on it until it overheats and shuts down. This one isn’t as good as the older discontinued model that has full circular motion but it’s better than the cheap Chinese ones. The only negative, come on guys you seriously put the button ON the pillow? I’m not overweight by any means and I have to be very careful how I use this or my back keeps hitting the power button and shutting it off. Anything to save a buck I guess. The old model had a corded remote that was so much better.

Too heavy, too awkward , too powerful
The weight makes it extremely difficult to get this placed on the area you need. The controls are located on the unit itself. It's difficult to reach behind you and access them. You can turn them on before putting the unit behind you, but it's difficult to reach them if you want to change a setting while using it. The balls are hard & there's only one setting for them. If laying on a sack of croquet balls is your idea of relaxing, this might be for you. They suggest putting a towel over it if you find it too intense. I tried that; it didn't help. You can turn that feature totally off and just use the vibration and/or heat, but that really defeats the purpose. It's too heavy to position on your upper back area without propping it on something. It does seem well-made and it does fit the description as to what it does, but it gets low marks for ease of use, relaxation, and pain relief.
