This tool is well made and is great for digging up weeds down to the roots and great for working in rock gardens or crevice gardens. It’s narrow enough to fit in small spaces and strong enough not to bend or break. If you have a friend who is a rock gardener this makes a great gift.

Well made casted aluminum core which is long and narrow spade. The aluminum spade core is securely anchored in a solid wood handle. It has an comfortable shape wood grip for digging for ease of use. The tool is easy to clean and hang by the leather shoe string strap. Definitely a well made tool value for the money paid.

Transplanting trowels like this come in so handy not only for digging and transplanting seedlings but also for digging out weeds with taproots in tight spaces. This little trowel has held up well in our rocky clay. It’s very sturdy. I would buy it again but I don’t think I’ll need to as I think it will last many years!

I got it today and sharpened it with an angle grinder. I went out and started planting daffodil and narcissus bulbs. In an already partially planted bed. It worked better than amazing. When your digging the hole, if you come upon an already planted bulb, you can both see and feel it. Every gardener needs this tool. Sharpen it when you get it. Man it's great and very well made. I'd buy it for twice the price.

not bad. A bit big for my needs and for removing out of trays I like the tongs best.

Best $16 I've spent on garden tools. Easy to grip with arthritic hands. Can use it for planting, weeding and transplanting. I'm so happy I finally purchased it.
