LONGEVITY UPDATE 4.13.2021 Solid board, still running great, absolutely no issues whatsoever. Specs: i7-7700, GTX 1070ti, PCI-WIFI AX 200, 16gb 2400Mhz RAM, 2TB Sabrent Rocket Q M.2 SSD, 1TB WD Blue M.2 SSD, 1TB WD Blue 7200 HDD and 500 EVGA BR PSU. Great motherboard, easy to install, didn't have any problems, user friendly bios and does it's job well. Update** I've had it almost a year and everything is running great! The wifi is awesome. Only gripe is that my case came with 4 usb ports but the motherboard has connections for just 2. Update 1.6.2020 - STILL GREAT!

When I got it the box had already been opened and was missing all the cables and one of the antennas. Shipped it right back, never used it

Got it for a gaming build for someone else specifically because I had an old i5 6500 CPU that I planned to reuse for this computer, and for some reason this is one of the only LGA1151 motherboards still in production. Everything installed and ready to go, fit into new case just fine, only to find that the 4 pin 12v RGB socket isn't compatible with the 3 pin 5v connector for the case's fans RGB. I got it half-working with a hub converter that connects to the 4 pin socket and allows 3 pin connectors to plug into it, thus allowing the lights to work (except when you power off or hibernate the computer, then you need to open the case and hit the switch to turn all the lights on the next time it's powered on). Kind of my fault for not researching that beforehand, I know, but it's my first time building something with RGB and I didn't know there isn't an industry standard for this stuff. But to my credit, 4 pin RGB seems to be rather rare, whereas 3 pin connections seem to be the unofficial standard that everyone's moved to, so why not just use that instead to begin with? At any rate I'm not docking points for that, I'm docking points for the Wi-Fi that was broken straight out the box. I screwed the antennas in as I had done before in my personal PC build, but once I booted it up with a fresh install of Windows, nothing. It was telling me that it couldn't find ANY networks on Wi-Fi, despite the fact that the router was in the next room over. I tried moving around the antennas to different angles, I tried switching them from one socket to the other, I tried using a small wrench to REALLY make sure they're in there good and snug, I dug up my old Asus antenna from my personal PC and tried it, and eventually I tried using the DVD that came with the motherboard to update all the software and drivers. All resulted in nothing. Actually after the driver update, it now *faintly* picked up the Wi-Fi signal I was looking for, but it was so weak that it couldn't even connect to it. I looked it up, and apparently no one else has this problem. I threw in the towel and bought a USB Wi-Fi dongle, plugged it into the back, Wi-Fi works like a dream now. It stings a lot more than it should because I had originally bought the regular Z270 Killer SLI by accident (should probably use more to differentiate your nearly identical motherboards than just two lowercase letters, ASRock), returned it thinking I needed the Wi-Fi model, only to end up wasting a USB slot in the back anyway. Just save yourself the time and headache, buy a dongle for like 15 extra bucks and throw it on the regular version of this motherboard.

No problems with this MOBO. Be certain you installing the memory modules correctly. For me it was a little confusing. In paragraph 2.3 read across for population priority. I've read some reviews saying DOA. I wonder if it was because the memory was installed improperly. Use the correct memory configuration and look carefully at the MOBO to discern A1-B1 and A2-B2. My slots were all black so you have to look at the board carefully. Most will say' "well of course", but it was not immediately apparent to me. I have been running this board for 3 months without any issues.
