Great quality reed tool for revamping a reed that needs it; I “shaved” my soprano sax reed resulting in a better sound & ease of play. I used to use a small pocket knife but this tool is a lot easier to use. The edges are sharp so be careful.

I've been adjusting my sax and clarinet reeds for decades using Xacto knives and sandpaper. I decided to give the Geeklet Reed tool a try and found that is very well made which makes it easy to make very precise adjustments. It also makes the process go much faster which reduces the risk of over adjusting each iteration to speed up the process. I also feel comfortable introducing my students earlier to reed adjusting with the Geeklet tool.

I could probably do the same job with a knife, but I love the convenience of having a proper tool for the job. Helps save reeds you would never use.

It works. Once you learn how to use this tool you can fine tune your reeds toake unplayable reeds play well.

Good quality

It works wonders on a poor reed. I thought Synthetic reeds were the best reeds. Now you can "adjust " a reed until you get the sound you want with the Geeklet , cane reeds are back as my favourite.
