Corona Tree Pruner Replacement Head Assembly Fits TP 6830, TP 6850, TP 6870, TP 5850

I bought a Corono pole saw/pruner at a big box store. It is obviously the cheapest thing Corona makes. After maybe 5 years of use, the head unit cracked and came off the pole. The problem is, this model isn't made for a replaceable head (it is riveted on, not bolted). I didn't want to send the pole to a land fill and replacement poles are $50 so it was worth something. After some discussion with Corona custover service, I bought this head unit which is a bit nicer than the previous one. I had to drill out the rivet to get the remainder of the unit off. The only issue I had was that the new head unit didn't quite fit. I had to trim the end off the plastic end on the pole until the new unit fit and lined up with the holes. Now I have a working pruner again and it works great.Caveat - this review was written soon after purchase. Only time will tell how well it works out.

Stronger than the others and very sharp and the rope is a strong nylon that your not scared to give a good tug on I like this one very much

Some minor modification was required to get item to fit properly onto pole. Also had to replace cord with a smaller diameter cord. Cord provided binds in pulley mechanism and prevents spring from returning cutting blade to fully open position

This is well made and fit nicely. I did have to shave a little from my pruner shaft, but minimal effort required.

Purchased this to replace head on 12' Corona trimmer purchased many years ago at Home Depot. No product number on the pruner (6830, 6850, etc.) so took my chances, but this head has no provision for the saw blade that my original pruner had. Not sure if a different saw blade is required, one for the listed product numbers, but beware if you have an older model w/o a prod number.Head seems well built, and I did take the chance not knowing what I actually had when ordering

I bought this one to replace the old pruner head which had worn out. Much cheaper than replacing the whole pole pruner..... much cheaper. The pole part is in good shape and still works just fine, only the head was worn out. It was easy to install and works just fine.

Fit perfectly on my old corona pole. Used it one day and it seems to work fine. I would recommend this product

Even tho same brand I was afraid it might not work but it worked perfectly
