Raccoons backed away silently when they got a whiff of this. It works!

Great brand name, good product.
Been using this for a few years. Deer seldom make an appearance, and are farther away when they do. It seemed to me it changed the deer's path to walk around the property, rather than toward it. To apply it, I use old plastic film negative canisters with their caps (you can use discarded med containers or any small similar thing with a lid), and use a hole punch to make vent holes that double as threading holes to hang the stuff. A small cut piece of cellulose sponge inside keeps the liquid in tact. Hang upright about waist height on branches or fences, at any entry ways or any place you want extra protection, like special trees or shrubs. You might want to use latex gloves for this project because who wants urine on their fingers. You might want to wear a clothes pin on your nose too since this stuff smells worse than anything I know. Refill as the liquid dissipates, or whenever you feel it necessary. Far as I know, it hasn't attracted coyotes. And I don't know how they collect the urine from coyotes, so don't ask me!

It worked for what I needed, BUT...
We have a possum who lives in the shed out back. We don't mind him, as the shed is empty.Every night, he crosses the yard, and stops to look at us. We think he's funny, so we never minded. But when he started defecating on our patio, we needed to do something about it.I researched what to do, without scaring off the squirrels, and found this.It works... But...1) I wore latex gloves, and even still, my hands smelled for a few hours, even after washing a few times. So wear rubber gloves instead.2) The possum is still around, but he no longer defecates on the patio. So for us, it worked. I didn't spray the shed, so maybe he would be gone if I had.Don't give up!

Great product
Works excellent to keep deer away. I put it in small bottles and poke a couple of holes toward the top of the bottle (about 1/4 inch in diameter). I place the bottles under my hostas, in the soil throughout my garden, in my hanging pots and other pots and also hang them from my flowering bushes. After a couple of months, I refill the bottles. The deer hate the scent. It is nasty but you won't notice it when you walk by your plants. Expensive but worth it to preserve your flower investment.

Kept the raccoons away
We used this to repel raccoons from entering our fenced yard and entering our doggie door. I poured a little on a cotton ball and then used a toothpick as a spike to secure it to the ground around the fence. The stuff smells nasty. The stench stayed with me all day - I think it lingered in my nostrils. Really gross. I would recommend wearing a mask if you have one.We had also added a small flashing laser light and played a radio at night in our utility room, so not sure if it was the urine or our other measures, but the raccoons have stopped coming into the house.

Easy to apply
I used so many things like ammonia, moth balls, cayenne pepper and the coyote urine to get a raccoon family out from under my house, not sure which one worked best. But, the comfort of just knowing this might have done the trick was enough for me. It does smell strong and you need to use gloves - worth giving it a shot. we've now got it around the perimeter of our house.

Keeps away skunks and squirrels from my freshly planted Fall bulbs
I ordered this based on a friend’s recommendation to keep critters away from my crocus and tulip bulbs. I am so glad I did. I planted a couple hundred bulbs and within a week they were eaten. I reordered my bulbs, and then used the coyote urine on top of my mulch. I just added drops all over the planting surface area. It has been a month and my bulbs have not been disturbed. Yes, it stinks really badly but I don’t care since it has keep squirrels and skunks from eating my bulbs. This will become part of my Fall planting kit from now on.
