SplitFish FragFX Shark PS4 - Sony officially licensed (PS4/PS3)

Hi All, I have used a "Splitfish" for the last few years as i am rubbish with a controller. I have been happy with the previous 2 bought for the PS3 and PS4. However, i think thay have changed the sensor in this latest version and it now stutters while moving the mouse across a screen. They have improved some of the features on the "Splitfish" but, i have only kept this one as a stand by and have gone back to the previous version. (with the misfiring left mouse button). I had no issues with the previous versions, only wear and tear, this one is in it's box waiting for a crisis. I notified Splitfish and got no response.

I have a FragFX Shark for the PS3 and was disappointed that I could not use it with the PS4, so I purchased a HORI Grip because they are a little cheaper and have a microphone input on the controller. I found the HORI grip to unusable, so returned it and added the extra money to get the PS4 FragFX Shark. Straight away if found it to be much better, the mouse was more accurate and I soon found my FPS gaming scores to improve. The only down side is the lack of a microphone input, instead I use my PS4 controller just for chat on a secondary PSN account in the background as I use the FragFX Shark to game.

This is a great product. The mouse feels good and the buttons feel solid, not flimsy. The nunchuck/controller is comfortable in the hand and all of the buttons are easily accessible. The mouse will need to be tuned to suit the game. I got it dialled in with The Division. A shooter like CoD will have no problem. Using a pistol in survival mode in The Division, with rapid fire active on the Frag, is hysterical. 2 seconds to empty a clip. You will need a good mousemat/pad. A cloth/fabric pad is a must.

Disappointed in product, the x button gets stuck, and triangle button doesn't work most times.

I’ve used this product as my first time experience using a mouse overall, after a few days of using it I have found that the left hand controller keeps disconnecting during play time even if the usb device is sat in the port correctly and it’s becoming frustrating, the mouse is fine but when I play destiny 2 it doesn’t give the full movement a mouse should, it jumps instead of a smooth movement like in a call of duty game, I don’t know if it’s due to the sensitivity on destiny isn’t very fast even on max compared to CoD. I’m not impressed with the product and think for its proformance so far is over priced for £100

Rèally enjoy using this mouse, and I want to continue using it however it tends to disconnect after about 30 minutes of use then I have to unplug the USB and plug it back in, is there a fix for this or a replacement please? If it would stop cutting out it would definitely be a 5* review!

2-1-2018 Revised review. Have it working pretty good with Call of Duty World War II. Battefield I is impossible and could never get it to the point where it was usable so gave up on BF. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I have the FragFX Shark for PS3 and have used it for several years without any issues. The mouse works like a mouse on a PC and I would rate 5 Stars. I got the FragFX Shark for PS4 as I just got a new PS4 Pro and was expecting that if anything it would be improved and even more precise. I could not have been more disappointed in the mouse control. Now it is literally impossible to move from left to right in a relative straight line when you are aiming. It does not track well at all and moves up and down as you move left to right while you are tracking your target. Very hard to aim when you the mouse is going up and down while you are moving left to right. No amount of adjusting the Mouse DPI, Sensitivity and in game settings makes it works acceptably. I used all of the recommended settings for Battlefield 1 from Frag FX page and even tried tweaking the settings from there. Spent a good 2 hours in game making adjustments and I have now given up and will see what Splitfish says. Maybe the mouse is bad? Maybe this is how the new mouse works? Interestingly the Mouse for the FragFx PS3 is Optical (you can see the light coming from the bottom) and the new Frag FX Shark for PS4 is IR and you cannot see any light. I will post back here with any reply/fix from Splitfish. But as it stands now I would stay away from this product.

I came from a PC gaming background and only ever used the PS for platform and driving games. I then had a wired version for the PS3 which allowed me to play COD and now a compatible one for the PS4 in line with COD ww2, brings back memories of playing in the PC. The device is very easy to use, just like a cross between a Nintendo nunchuck and a mouse, simples.

Excellent, J'ai toujours galérer à jouer avec un pad aux jeux de tir, et là c'est que du bonheur, je peux enfin jouer aux FPS dans de bonnes conditions. Attention toutefois à bien régler les paramètres du jeux, bien enlever toutes les aides à la visée, régler la sensibilité, et c'est partie pour des bons head shot, et de la régalade. Et franchement que ce soit la souris ou le fragchuck, c'est franchement de la bonne cam, ont sent que c'est des bons matériaux : plastiques, gâchettes, joysticks et ça tiens vraiment bien en main, pas comme les certaines manettes big ben qui laisse franchement à désiré. A conseiller à tous ceux qui comme moi en on marrent de galérer à visée au pad.

Ich schreibe nicht oft Rezensionen! Was echt schade ist, da man immer nur seine schlechten Erfahrungen mitteilt. Aber hier muss ich mich mal äußern. Der Frag FX ist der Hammer Und für alle, die wie ich, mit dem Pad bei Shootern nicht warm werden. Mega präzise und man fühlt sich wie am Rechner! Mit ein bißchen basteln an den Einstellungen, sollte jeder schnell damit zurecht kommen. Tatsächlich ist es super einfach. Stick einstecken...die beiden Geräte Fragschuk und Maus einschalten und schon wird alles erkannt. Die Kurzanleitung ist super beschrieben und reicht völlig aus! Alle Tastenkombinationen sind klar erklärt. Ganz klare Kaufempfehlung für PC Umsteiger und Leute die Maussteuerung bei Shootern bevorzugen. Jetzt aber noch was zum Anbieter. Der erste Frag FX war leider defekt...der Stick blieb ständig hängen und hatte keinen richtigen Widerstand! Häufige Verbindungsabbrüche und die Tasten an der Maus schienen irgendwie "locker" zu sitzen. Man müsste schon zwei mal drücken, damit die Aktion ausgelöst wurde. Diesen Umstand dem Hersteller mitgeteilt und man schickte mir daraufhin eine neue Frag FX und ich sollte mich melden sobald diese erfolgreich in Betrieb genommen wurde. Angekommen und ausgepackt und alles Gut! Der Stick hat einen guten Widerstand...alle Knöpfe sitzen fest und reagieren sofort! Verbindungsabbrüche konnte ich keine mehr feststellen! Man sollte allerdings nichts zwischen den Stick und dem Frag FX kommen lassen! Eine Sache noch, bei zu schnellen Bewegungen, die 360 Grad betreffen, da kommt der Frag FX manchmal nicht hinterher! Aber sonst absolut Top. Sowohl Produkt als auch, der in meinen Augen, sehr freundliche Kontakt.

Está muy bien, responde a la primera y es facilísimo instalarlo, solo poner el usb y ya está.

Come da titolo per la vecchia ps3 era un oggetto da me utilizzato e funzionava alla perfezione,ma acquistato il nuovo per PS4 ,provato il mouse non seguiva una linea retta manco a morire. reso all 'istante senza difficolta grazie all aiuto di Amazon. mouse troppo piccolo sembra per mani cinesi cioe piccole,e non preciso sconsiglio l'acquisto almeno che non abbiano risolto questo problema

Premiere fois pour moi d'adapter une souris sur la ps4. Faut s'habituer bien sûr ! Mais je trouve que le résultat est fort satisfaisant. Appareils de qualités et bonne prise en main. Reste intuitif, ... En résumé, je le conseille pour les débutant comme moi. Seul point négatifs est qu'en effet, on ne sait pas brancher le casque au dispositif... dommage !!
