awesone!
great product! This stuff sets up fast, so make sure you are prepared ahead of time so you aren't rushing. If you want more open time use the slow 15 or 30 options offered as those will give you more than enough time to work out the process. The demoed time is super fast so thats the biggest benefit I get out of it but the silicone is super strong and tear resistant for longer lasting molds.

Love This Stuff Just Wish It Wasn't SOOO Expensive
This stuff works great and is very easy to use. I've actually purchased several sets of it. And had no problem making it work. I did have an issue with the package leaking, but I think that was Amazon's idiot driver who threw it over my back gate instead of walking to my front door. You do have to be quick since this is the fast setting, so be sure you have everything ready you want to pour on. It is messy to work with so put something down under it. Comes out a bright blue color.

fastest silicone I've ever used
I make wax molds and the process of working with wax can be daunting. this product allows me to produce new wax parts for casting in a single day. the material is soft and rubber like. to get the best results I inject the wax with a 3d printed mold box.the silicone is not as sturdy as the high heat silicones by smooth-on but if you need parts fast this is the best option.

Works well for my art
Moldstar fast and moldstar slow are my standard silicones for casting leaves and flowers. Light aqua is the slow version and blue is the fast. The fast works well if I'm in a hurry or know the material will whither before I can complete the process. My concern however is what happened when I ordered this product through Amazon Prime, via River Colony Trading. The product I received is not moldstar fast, but Onyx fast, A plastic resin. Lesson learned, ordering this product through Amazon is a bit of a trial and error. I would have left this as feedback on the seller's page. But it appears the seller has all negative reviews erased from their profile.Included are pictures I've made with Moldstar slow as a first layer and moldstar fast for the rest. Light green is the slow and blue is the fast. Also included is what I received from Amazon, via River Colony Trading.

Easy to use
I had never used any silicone and never made any molds before. I chose this to experiment with because it looked simple. Turns out it was extremely easy to use. It didn't even need degassing, which was nice because I don't have a vacuum chamber. The only issue I had was that I wanted a food safe silicone. Even though the listing said it was food safe, the manufacturer says it is NOT food safe.

Exactly as described
I was a little hesitant since I reading the reviews..but this was just as expected and perfect! There was a little that had settled in the bottom but that is with all products even when I order from smooth-on..Just had to stir more..Was so pleased I ordered 3 more to make a total of 5. I love all smooth-on products and this seller did not disappoint.

Just a few instructions to help you out.
Have used this stuff for years, if you let the jar sit for too long on the shelf it will seperate and basically crystallize on the bottom. Just use a metal screwdriver or something like that to stir it up again scraping all the lumps and they will redisolve into the mix. If you don't it will effect cure times and hardness, as one would imagine, you need all the ingredients to make the mix work as designed. As someone else stated, they are not kidding about the 6 min pot life.Don't worry about timing the mixing of the 2 parts, just mix until the color is uniform and pour it.
