Is the power supply in the middle of the strip or at the end?

With the 105ft version, it is actually TWO 52.5 feet strings of lights. There is ONLY ONE power connector so you have to have the power connector where BOTH strings can connect to the power/controller box. For my pool cage that means the connector is in the middle of what appears as one large string (but you can see a small gap at the center of the back of the cage). You cannot hook the two strings together to make ONE long 105 foot string.

how many lights are on the 52.5 ft rope? the technical specs says 150, but in the image with the specs it says 560. Has anyone counted them?

They are 1” apart I would say 560 I was pleasantly surprised.

I can not get the remote to work. it worked at first. there isnt a "lower left" button except the music button. help! battery was changed.

To me the remote is next to useless, download the app and use it on your phone. More options. Otherwise make sure you have a line of sight with the control box and that nothing is blocking it. You can also try contact Novostella directly and see what they have to say. I do not see the remote as something that can be purchased seperately.

Can these be cut and another power supply be added?

They can be cut kthey include silicone to cover the cut and reseal it. You could attach a power supply to it, but you won't be able to control it so I wouldn't plan on it.
