This stuff is amazing
Update, installed in January in a cold MA winter, worked great. Tried to remove in April when it suddenly got real warm. Pretty awful honestly, I only bothered with one window. The glue separated from the backing and stayed glued to the window. Took quite a bit of effort to peel /scrape off with a razor. With that said, if you put it in carefully it goes on so smooth and clear, you could opt to just cut it with a razor and open your window… if you are real careful how you put it on your top sash of the window.. or just peel that top one off. Worked great but its apparently more of a forever solution I wish I realized I could get this in 35yd rolls as well because I’m already ordering more! I ordered 5 33ft rolls initially, I think more so due to shipping speed, and I filled every possible gap on 7 full sized windows, you could probably do 8 (165ft if tape). I say 8 because the window I mainly bought this for was all out of shape and leaking like an actual sieve. It couldnt get any worse. All my windows are a bit drafty, I live on the ocean and the former owner I think just did not get window replacements with my area in mind. But this one window was a true test, and I did use a few over lapping layers for this window because of that. Which is why I say about 8 windows. The winds in my area are insane! We are currently having a bad wind event and none if the windows, not even that bad one has even a hint of a draft. Additionally this stuff is SO CLEAR you would have to really be inspecting the windows to see it, even in ones where tend to keep the shades up. Its also so easy to work with, when I initially peeled it back I doubted it was sticky at all, it peels so easily from the roll, but TRUST THE PROCESS this stuff will amaze you. I’m personally hoping to have replacements for next year and dont open most of my windows a ton so I’m not sure that all of them I will remove tape, but some I definitely will. And this tape reviewed to be easy to remove where some others reviewed as more challenging and somewhat damaging. I cant speak for how strong itll adhere in a fee months or after a summer heat season but if it stays as it is now I trust it will remove well and likely with out even paint damage on the sils I am so happy I ordered this and cant wait for the next order so I can finish the less drafty windows even. I focused on my worst offenders and my master bedroom and couch are so much more comfortable now. True DREAM. I would recommend this to any one I know . Its WAY better than filming the whole window, which I have also done preciously. I had to come give this a review BUY THIS TAPE!

Great sealant for the winter and the summer
This tape works exactly as advertised. It’s strong, the stickiness held to the window frames, window and entryway without causing damage when removed. It keeps the drafts out during the winter and works great securing the insulation around my window air conditioner. Overall great sealant.

Great product!
Great sealing tape. This worked perfectly for my attic window that had multiple entrances around it for bugs and various weather to come through that I had sealed with it.

Works, can get sticky and smells
On the bright side, this seems to work, seal, and doesn't stick too much to create a problem of removal later. We'll have to see as I haven't yet removed it but it doesn't have the sense that it bonds very tightly to the surface, just enough to secure a good seal. However... my roll was incredibly sticky on the sides. After opening the plastic cover encasing it I had to be careful not to get too much gunk on my hands while unrolling. Cutting with the scissor was very difficult and I'm not sure why. I have a very sharp scissor but the tape itself is thicker that the typical tape seal that I have and it would get caught in the scissor blades. I need to try to cut it twice. Some users mentioned a smell. It is extremely powerful, chemical, and I thought I might not use it at first. It does go away but you will be certainly notice this smell upon opening the package. Overall it did a good job, looks good being transparent, and using is fairly straightforward.

Blocked all our drafty windows
This tape is fantastic! Our windows are older very drafty around seams. With a really cold spell coming this past winter I ordered this. Enough for all our windows, sealed them perfectly, easy to use , "bends" around corners etc. I will definitely purchase again and again . Noticeable difference in inside air temp, no more drafts

Sticky - maybe too sticky
It’s thick, super sticky and did the job preventing cold drafts. However, come spring, be prepared for a lot of cussing and regret when trying to remove it. The glue layer separates from the plastic and makes removing a pain. Be prepared to spend hours removing it little by little and if you apply it to painted surfaces, the paint will be removed. I won’t use again.

Wow!
We have contractors grade windows and were looking to help block some drafts during the winter so when I saw this product pop up I decided to read the reviews. Reviews were mixed and I added this to my wish list just in case. A lightning deal ended up coming up on this so I bought two rolls to try out. Last weekend we had a huge dip in temperature with strong winds and decided now would be the best time to try this tape out. The tape is nice and heavy, almost feels like a super flexible silicone, and was easy to cut with scissors. I was surprised that it didn’t seem very sticky, but clung to the window frame effectively. You could feel the drafts disappearing as I tapped. I went around the house only focusing on the windows that appeared to have the most drafts (we have 16) and still had some tape left over from the two rolls. Like I said, I did the bare minimum but the difference was substantial, we could comfortably stand by our windows and not feel the air flowing in. Since I just applied the tape, I feel it’s worth the price, seems of good quality and would highly recommend. I did have to reposition a couple of strips and had no trouble doing so, or any issues with it staying afterwards. If I run into any issues with the tape past this point I will return and update my review accordingly.

This tape has truly delivered.
I recently used the Transparent Window Weather Sealing Tape (2 inches x 33 feet) to insulate my windows and doors, and it's worked remarkably well in keeping bugs out during California's hot summer months. Living on the upper level, the heat can be quite intense, and there were always small gaps in the windows that allowed insects to enter since the air conditioning doesn’t fill up all the extra space where they could come in. This year, I aimed to find a solution to keep them out, and this tape has truly delivered. It sticks well and has remained in position for two to three months without needing reapplication, with no bugs entering my home through the windows. This product has been a real game changer for me. It is tacky upon cutting and has a strong smell, but most importantly, it works effectively.

Thick tape
The glue is very good, and I like the build of this product. The biggest plus point is its sufficient thickness, which gives the product more strength.
