Concept is good, mounting not so much
I was anchoring these rails to concrete. The anchors they give you don't work. The final result is wobbly. I am going to go with concrete anchors and anchor cement. It should work. Anchoring to wood probably works with what they give you.

Rusted after one day in the rain
Installation was easy. Looks nice. We had one day of rain and it already started to rust.

Nice single pole handrail
Would have got a 5 but the base that gets bolted to the cement cracked slightly. The cement bolts/hardware that is included are pretty crappy. Go to hardware store as I did & get some strong cement anchors & use them instead. Get a strong pipe base also, doing this was inexpensive & made it much stronger! Overall still well worth it. MK

Wow! Exactly what I needed.
First, this merchant's customer service team is superior, and I thank them for their help. The shipment turned up missing during the holidays. This handrail is perfect for my needs. No, I am not an old geezer. But - sometimes - when I am taking the dogs out for a walk, I become "airborne" on the steps because of leash pulling. The dogs see something of interest and unexpectedly off they go, pulling me behind. Now I can grab ahold of this handrail rather than being dragged and hurt. The handrail simply lends more stability for me and others using my deck stairs (I have two steps from the deck/porch). It was simple to put together, taking only 2 minutes. This metal is NOT cheap aluminum. You are going to be SURPRISED. It is very robust. It is a good value every way around, worth every penny. The only suggestion I can make is this one: Use your own screws for the base rather than those with the kit. P.S. Everything you need has been thoughtfully placed into an installation kit that comes with the handrail. However, the screws provided in the kit are a little "rubbery". If you need to back them out again - because you've changed your mind about the location of the handrail (like I did) - it's tricky to do so. Use your own Phillips screws for this project instead. Thank you.

Pleased overall, with a tip…
A nice little solution. Do be aware, though, that this isn’t actually black pipe: it’s steel painted to look so. Perfectly fine by me. However, a tip for installation: get both rails screwed together, with the flange screwed on, but TORQUE the daylights out of them, and possibly use thread-lock. To align these the way you want by way of perpendicularity, you’ll want them assembled, then shoot your lag screw holes in situ. HOWEVER, once screwed down, unless tightened to within an inch of stripping them out, they WILL twist in some more as the threads settle in, making your angles wonky.Otherwise, I’m fully pleased, and will be getting a few more sets. You couldn’t make these yourself out of black pipe for this price.

Cheap anchors
I had to buy new anchors for the ones sent did not tighten the rails. Rails were very industrial looking in addition to being hard to install. I would not purchase again

Vintage look or free-form of pieces of pipes
Post(s) gives a look of a vintage look or something that a creator would have put together, by using pieces of pipes to create a rail. *(for extra stability, we attached a bracket by drilling a 3/8" hole to the bottom portion attached to the back of porch approximately 7" - **optional of course). Happy wife...Happy life😇

Amazing product
I worried that I would have to buy a special concrete drill bit to drill into the concrete step, but even the concrete bit is included, plus screwdriver plus wrench. This is an excellent design, and perfect for steadying where there are only 2 or 3 steps. Any pole support which is attached only at the bottom will always have a small amount of wobble, but this is ideal to steady one's use of 2 or 3 steps. Weather resistant and well designed and made, and a reasonable price.

absolutely steady.
It has been reviwed as unsteady and may need a brace but my carpenter friend did the job and no wobble.
