WACACO Minipresso Kit, Accessory for Minipresso GR, Larger Water Tank with 3 Filter Baskets, for Lungo Espresso

The larger water tank transformed my standard Wacaco into a super dispenser of great coffee in my preferred amount.

I already have a number of their portable coffee items. This is an excellent companion to carry extra coffee for those longer trips or a couple of nights away.

Does what you expect, only gripe is the coffee pod lids don’t have a clip.

Got this to go with a minipresso (gift). Does what it says on the tin - I can take more coffee with me when I’m out and about, which is great. Larger volume of water is also great for a dopio espresso if one so desires😄. Only improvement would be if the water canister was a thermos to avoid the need to carry a thermos or means to brew hot water with me, but that’s no great shakes and wouldn’t stop me recommending this product. I give this 5/5 on the Sharpleberry banan-o’meter = Top banana 🍌🍌🍌🍌🍌

I misunderstood, or maybe the product description should be clearer. I thought this was an upgrade to the original water tank but in fact if you were to use this as your new permanent replacement water tank you wouldn't have a tamper handily stored inside it because all the space inside is taken up with the three new baskets. No room for the scoop/tamper. Clearly the idea is that you won't need a tamper because you will fill and tamp the three baskets at home before you set out, but alas these coffee baskets, which you transport inside the larger water tank, do not have tight lids. They are all fixed in place tightly enough when they are in transit in the tank but getting them in and out of the tank without spilling requires some dexterity and a steady pair of hands. You are quite likely to want to do a bit of extra tamping before you brew. If you don't find any of the above too off putting this set will certainly allow you to make a Minipresso double shot more easily and with less mess than a complete refill and basket change in the Minipresso without these acccessories.

Recently changed jobs, new job only has low quality instant. Early impressions are that this this is a lifesaver. Works great and keeps me from multiple daily trips to coffee shops.

it leaks from the 1 st time of usage, the quality is not same as the small original tank. not sure if all are same or mine was defected . i returned
