Worth the price, works great and also very nice looking
I love the Buydeem electric tea kettle. It works great and also good looking. It boils quickly and the water is nice and hot. I just purchased another for my BFF who is also a big tea drinker. She will be thrilled when she opens the gift. Also love the color selection offered. I have had other electric kettles in the past, but this one is the best.

All Plastic inside is REMOVABLE!
In addition to the removable filter (which I wanted to remove because it has plastic components) the piece inside the kettle which holds the plastic filter is plastic as well, but could be snapped out easily! I was thrilled about that, as now there is no plastic inside the kettle at all!!! It seems to work as expected, and is really cute. I also have the matching toaster. Love them both!

Pretty color, nice retro style
I like the size and color of it. The cord is long enough. It heats quickly with very little noise. It is easy to clean; we don't heat anything but water in it. The one thing we don't like about is is the plastic strainer in it. It can be removed. But that part is not in contact with the water rexcept for a few seconds,so that's not overly concerning to us.

after the first boil i noticed at the bottom there rusty like spots.
I just got the kettle and did my first water boil. After doing it i noticed at the bottom of the kettle there are some rusty (yellowish) spots. I am going to return it. i like the design a lot but unfortunately I can't tolerate the spots.
