Lots of drying space
I love this washing line. It’s easy to use and will hold a lot of washing. It was easy enough to assemble and it arrived very quickly. EDIT The mechanism to raise and lower the line stopped working within a short space of time and the whole thing was replaced but even on the replacement the mechanism didn’t work but it’s not stuck at maximum height so I kept it. I personally wouldn’t buy it again.

Not a Hills Rotary Dryer
I have only used this for three months, the line has snapped twice and now the rotary mechanism has broken (it is only plastic inside!) Unfortunately I am outside the warranty. I complained to the genuine Hills and this is not their product great eh? I have now had to purchase the genuine article direct from Hills. They DO NOT supply anyone else so this is only available from them direct. Utter rubbish and very costly to replace. This is not a genuine Hills rotary dryer!!!

I was happy with my rotary dryer
I purchased one similar to this last June. I was happy with my rotary dryer, but now it won't extend up or down, I can't rind anyone to complain to. Could you please help me.

Not as good as it used to be
I originally had one of these in the 1960’s and it was a much superior product to the the present day offering. It was used daily for some 15 years and was still functioning perfectly when we sold the house. I purchased this model in 2020 and in 2021 the hoist function failed. It would apear that this is a common failure. It is considerably more expensive than rival brands and do not consider it to be value for money.

Absolutely brilliant product, why didn’t I buy this before instead of the flimsy aluminium ones! Very good quality, of course you have to pay for it! Quickly dispatched, no hesitation to recommend product and seller

Hills - don’t bother
It’s only been in use for 4 months and the winding mechanism doesn’t wind up the line. You need to lift the rotary bit to get it to wind up. Look elsewhere if you want reliability. This seems to happen to other customers.
