2-Pack Digital Room Thermometer Hygrometer with Battery

This is an excellent humidity gauge, with accuracy comparable to more expensive models I own. I recommend this product. My use: I have a damp basement with a large main room, a laundry room and a utility room. I put one of these in the small rooms to tell me when to move my heavy dehumidifier around. Key points - 1 - the units are compact about two inches by two inches. They come two to the package, so don't be surprised when you see only one little box in your Amazon parcel. 2- Set up is easy. Press the small button on the back. Click for Centigrade or Fahrenheit for the temperature. The unit calibrates in about a minute. A battery is installed. 3 - Accuracy: I found the units to be accurate in humidity and temperature. It is not unusual for different instruments to show different humidity levels. So I was worried about accuracy. No need to worry. It took about an hour for them to settle in. (Instantaneous after that.) The units are within 1-2% of humidity shown on my expensive meter (and, when they differ, agree with my dehumidifier's display). Temperatures were an exact match. 4 - An little easel on the back unfolds like a picture frame so they will stand up on a shelf. 5 - The display size was large with the humidity display on top, which is what I prefer. 6 - There is no backlight. I consider this a virtue not a flaw. Backlighting wastes batteries. 7 - These units are new. I cannot predict their longevity. 8- Disclosure: I am an ordinary consumer with a damp basement. I love these thermometers! They work well and I can just have them set up around the house to verify I am not going crazy when I am feeling super warm or cold.

good for the price, big digits easy to read. My only issue is that the "1hr change" indicator is always "->" so it doesn't seem to indicate the rising or falling trend that it might imply. That indicator was why I chose this over other versions, but it doesn't seem to "do" anything despite the humidity rising wihin one hour. Therefore, if THAT is something you are looking for, both of these units fail to deliver on that functionality unless I am misunderstanding what "1hr trend" means... ymmv.

These do exactly what they’re supposed to. They gave me a good reading and the digital display is large. The batteries also last quite a while. I would say several months.

Great little hygrometer . Accurate and easy to use. Use these in conjunction with my dehumidifier to keep the basement humidity at an acceptable level . Can’t beat the price.

I love these little hygrometers. They seem to be well calibrated. I ordered about 4 kits so far as I like to have them everywhere in almost every room during winter time so that the humidity doesn’t reach very low settings. The batteries seem to last long because I haven’t had to replace any of them in a 1.5 year period. I would buy again no problem.

This was the 2-pack. Thermometers were easy to set up. It like it that it runs on one AAA battery, rather than a CR2032 coin battery. Compared to another brand of thermometer I have in the house, this one seems to be consistently approx. 0.4 - 0.5 degree Celsius higher, although I have no way to verifying which one is the correct one. Also, between the 2 thermometers in this order, placed side by side, they would be different by 0.1 degree C, sometimes 0.2 degree. Not a significant discrepancy, but I thought I would mention it. Time will tell how long the battery lasts, and how durable the unit is.

Temperature is accurate enough. One unit was identical to our more expensive weather station. The second was .3 of a degree lower. One unit was showing 3% less humidity upon arrival but was within one degree after a 12 hour climatisation period. Meets our needs 100% at a great price.

These are great to have for anyone who is curious to know what temperature their living space is! I leave my two cats at home, and this summer hasn't been hot enough to run my A/C all day/night, so while I am at work, I have my cameras on, with the thermometer next to it, so that I can monitor the temps! I never knew just how hot it could get living in the top of an apartment building. It's cool to see how low it gets at night too! Today, I brought it into work to see just how cold it gets in our break room (we call it Office Winter). Also, the humidity measurer is very interesting to see. One day it got to 80% humidity, and BOY, could you feel it! Great tool to have!
