Simple and effective
This is the first and only cold bluing solution I’ve tried, but I am extremely impressed by this product. The two most important factors for an even finish are a) a consistent and even surface to the metal b) a thoroughly degreased surface/component, preferably with acetone or an equivalent degreasing agent - preparation of the piece prior to bluing is key. Once these to things are in place, the cold bluing solution will work beautifully, in my experience.

Not as good as gel
It's says dilute the product, waste of time, use straight to get results, not as good as the Phillips little pots of gel
