This water tester has been a game changer in ensuring the safety and quality of my water at home. Its accuracy and reliability are good, providing peace of mind with every test. The ease of use is another major plus; with just a press of a button, I can check the total dissolved solids, electrical conductivity, as well as the water temperature.The compact design makes it easy to carry, whether I'm testing tap water, my aquarium, or even the water while traveling. I can't really blame the product as nowhere in the description does it say water hardness tester, but this comes up MANY times when you search for water hardness tester. It is easy to use and very quick, but definitely not what I wanted or need.

Looking at the test results and assuming it was fairly accurate, the outcome was seriously shocking and depressing at the same time. Using a different glass and cleaning/drying the tester in between each test, I got the following results: Tap Water from Kitchen and Bathroom appeared to be comparatively very close:315 and 322 ppm respectively. PUR filtered water bottle (moderately used 2 months old filter): 282 ppm. Showerhead with water softener filter: 290 ppm. Filtered water from Frigidaire (moderately used 2 months old filter): 290 ppm.~ See related photosWhat I will be testing soon is: couple of different new bottled water and also the water from PUR after replacing the filter.Seems a whole-house filtration system for iron, magnesium, manganese, calcium as well as chlorine is a must!

Our tap water tastes horrible and we refuse to drink it. I watched videos to research which commercial water is safest. I used this item to test various sources. It's a cool little item and I was amazed at the results of the waters on the market, especially the really expensive ones were almost as bad as my tap water. Very good price to get some really helpful information.

I have never used one of these before but I needed to check my water due to us being sick a lot. Come to find out that we had so much wrong with our faucet water that we installed a filter system. We haven't been sick since we bought this tester and the filter system. Anytime I go out to eat I test the water and if you haven't done this before you might be surprised at what you are drinking. I would recommend this to anyone who doubts what they are drinking.

Stop working after one month. Update: I changed it to 5 stars because, even though is a small amount, after reding this review, the seller provided a full refund and a replacement.
