I bought this as a gift for someone else. The only thing they didn't like was that the cord coming down to the cigarette lighter was visible. I didn't picture it looking like that so I returned it. I think that all of the Dash Cams have that, where you can see the wire coming from the windshield to the cigarette lighter. We never really tried this Dash Cam so I cannot say if it worked well, but it looks like it got good reviews. The seller was very helpful and answered all questions.

I love it!

Pros: I have other "dash cams" for my other 2 vehicles but I like this one because it doesn't take up any additional space on my windshield or dash. Also, the touchscreen makes using it so much easier than having to hunt for buttons constantly. I especially like the on-screen touch feature that allows you to switch the main display from the front camera to the rear and back again super easy. You can also turn the display off once you are ready to start actively driving to avoid distraction. I find myself forgetting that it's more than just a rear view mirror while I'm driving while still having the peace of mind of knowing that I have video documentation at all times. I've only had it for a day so I'll get back on her in a few days in case I have heat issues or the device fails but so far, I'm loving it and the price is fantastic. Make sure you get a 32 Gb card because this one doesn't come with one.Cons: The instructions didn't explain how to connect the rear cameras backup sense wire. I know it connects to one of the wires that go to the white backup lamp on the car but do I connect it to positive, negative, what? Also, the device only send to record when it senses A LOT of motion. Even while driving it will stop recording and I have to wave my hand in front of the camera to get it to start recording again.

Fake reviews

Is a great purchase, looks good and for the most part any easy install. I have a quad cab truck so it was a stretch to make it fit. Smaller cars and trucks won't have a problem.. To the dude saying reviews are fake, get a life..

It's ok, no 5 second record option as advertised. Back cam record fuzzy, bad enough that a dark car looks just that can't even make out a color or feature definitions. 32gb car fills up very fast. And I already had to reset it once because touch screen would work. But from cam records well and focused. So about half of what I bought is working as advertised. Oh and no instructions came with this.

Camera works great so far. It just needs to have a longer cable for the backup camera.
