Paw Soother Dog Paw Balm for Cold Weather - 2 oz Stick

Worked great right at first use! My dogs pads were so smooth a soft!! Highly recommended

Applying this to my 65 lb lab/GSP mix is basically an Olympic event. He is convinced I've invented some new form of play involving his paws and my hands, and he will not sit still for it; there is wiggling, there is a full-body flop, there is a look of betrayal when I grab the next paw. But once it's on, the difference is real. His pads go from crunchy and rough to actually soft, and he stops gnawing at them incessantly. The stick format is clutch for a dog his size because I am not trying to rub balm into paws with my bare hands while he tries to lick my face. Shea butter, coconut oil, calendula, it smells nice and clean and it's gentle enough that when he inevitably licks his paws right after (he always does, don't fight it, just accept it) I'm not worried. Great for after walks, hikes, hot sidewalks, all of it. Just budget extra time for the wrestling match.

While the product has proven to be effective in providing relief and healing, it's worth noting that it takes some time to fully dry and absorb. The Paw Soother comes in a handy container and is easy to apply. The natural ingredients are a big plus, as I'm always looking for products that are safe for my dog. The balm itself is thick and rich, which makes it great for moisturizing and nourishing those rough paw pads. After a few applications over the course of a week, I started noticing a positive change in my dog's paw condition. The dryness and cracking began to improve, and the irritated areas seemed to calm down. It's evident that the product is formulated with care and quality in mind. However, one drawback I encountered was the time it takes for the balm to fully dry on my dog's paws. This became a bit of a challenge, as my dog didn't particularly enjoy waiting around until the product was absorbed. In some cases, he would try to lick it off before it had a chance to work its magic. This required some extra monitoring to ensure the product had time to properly do its job.Despite the drying time issue, I appreciate the results the Paw Soother has provided. It's important to understand that healing and improvement take time, and this product is no exception. If you're patient and willing to ensure your dog doesn't disturb the application, the Natural Dog Company Paw Soother can be a reliable solution for paw issues. In conclusion, I'm giving this product a four-star rating because of its effectiveness in healing dry and cracked paws. The need for patience during the drying process is a minor inconvenience compared to the benefits it brings. If you're looking for a natural and effective solution to your dog's paw problems, this is definitely a product to consider.

My dog has hyperkeratosis and I haven’t known what to do with her paws for a long time. I’ve tried different types of balms but she’s often uncomfortable with lots of handling of her paws due to the extent of the keratosis. This balm has been simple to apply requiring minimal rubbing in on my part and is incredibly moisturizing. I have been using for a week and the difference in her paw pads is significant. She let me clip her nails with zero problems as well, which is typically difficult due to her discomfort. The price seemed on the steep end, but the quality is more than I had hoped for, and my dog’s comfort has greatly increased. Absolutely worth it after two weeks of application.

It worked wonders for her paws, actually overnight. Highly reccommend.

My dog is not a biter, she is not aggressive, except when it comes to me touching her paws. Lately she's been licking them to the point she started bleeding. So I dredged up my courage and got this. Oh, did she fight me the first time. The second time she grudgingly sat there. By the third time I went to apply this, she literally trotted over to me and lifted her paw. I couldn't believe it! She loves this stuff! Thank you so much!

While I liked how it made my dogs paws feel, it was too greasy and left a stain on our cushions.

The stick format is perfect. It makes application quick and clean, especially for dogs who wiggle or don’t like their paws touched. I can swipe it on without getting product all over my hands, and my dog tolerates it really well. Within just a few uses, I noticed my dog’s paws looked softer and less cracked. The rough edges smoothed out, and the pads felt more hydrated. It also seems to help after long walks or days when the ground is hot his paws don’t look irritated afterward.

The product itself is great. It helps sooth my dog's cracked paw pads. He used to not let me touch them - must have been painful. The seller, however, is using photo of a 2oz stick when the actual product is a 0.15oz stick. If you don't pay attention to the item description, you'll get a rude shock when you receive the item. This is misrepresentation.
