Hampton Adams Athletic Sports Tape, Very Strong, Easy Tear, No Residue

I have purchased this tape multiple times. Both of my daughters play basketball and have sprained their ankles. I’m a nurse and I will tape their ankles before basketball. The tape does its job. I got have both the black and the white kind. It’s strong enough to work with yet. I am able to tear it at the side without any scissors when I use it. That’s a win for me specially, if I misplaced my scissors. It’s the right thickness, the right size for an ankle, and The Right material. It’s a good price too.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: My husband uses this kinesiology tape for Jiu-Jitsu, and it’s been a game-changer for his training and recovery. He applies it before practice to support his shoulders, knees, or fingers (depending on what’s sore or strained that week), and it stays put even through intense rolling and sweat. It’s very sticky! I use this black tape for taping my dobermans ears when I post them. It is REALLY sticky, when it sticks to itself it will NOT come back off. But on skin or doberman ears with hair, it can be taken off easily without pain, and without removing hair. Wonderful stuff, just really hard to handle in longer pieces. Again, once it sticks to itself, or folds in on itself, it is stuck forever. and you will have to start over with a new piece. Once you get used to handling it , it is the best tape in the world for posting dogs ears.

This tape works so good. No wonder it was on Shark Tank bc it keeps a grip and it comes with 3 larger rolls for a very minimal price.

Excellent athletic tape for supporting joints and areas that are weaker due to injury or age or whatever. I have used several different types and this brand has been working great on my often sensitive-to-adhesive skin. I wrap my ankle well enough to do TKD and soccer (I'm an older dude with a ton of injuries from serving our over capitalistic country thinking I was serving the values of my US Constitution) and joints whenever performing other feats of physical athleticism. It goes on easy, stays on when you need it to, then comes off relatively easy with minimal struggle or discomfort.

Good quality! Hold strongly on hand.

Tears well, stickiness is lacking. Where some tapes hold like they are part of you even after 10+ hours of sweating, this just peels away from your skin. I tape my hands and I got maybe 45 minutes of good support before it was just loosely floating about like a glove. Reapplying several times to maintain support, where others last all day, left me using most of a roll in one day. Too expensive for that amount of waste, for my use case anyway.

We have collies and I guess I may be spoiled from always taking the Japanese tape and then moving to this when I ran out. This has very little stickiness and will take together until the dog shakes their head and then all your work will fall apart. Do not buy.
