Missing parts; had to return; poor customer service from Laguna
Bandsaw was delivered a month ago but with a 5HP Leeson motor instead of the 6HP Baldor that was shown in the Amazon listing and in the manual that came with the machine. Amazon said I had to talk to Laguna directly. Several email and phone attempts later Laguna said they'd send the 6HP when they got more in, but 3 weeks later said they had no idea when they'd get more in so I decided to install the 5HP until the 6HP was available. The mounting bolts and washers for the motor were not included and they said they'd expedite them to me that day. That was 9 days ago. I have emailed and called again several times and they have not responded at all this time. I cannot use the machine so I have to return it before the return period expires. This is a very large and heavy piece of equipment. This has been a very frustrating experience, paying over $4000 for a supposedly high quality machine that is unusable. The delivery service was excellent though in helping me get it in my workshop.
