Product description Active Manuka Honey Anhydrous Cream 25% (AMH 25% Cream) has been formulated to utilise all the known benefits of Active Manuka Honey when used for topical application for animal wounds in an easy to administer form. The AMH 25% Cream can be applied directly onto the area requiring care, normally without the need of a dressing to hold the cream in place. Applied directly to the affected area the cream forms a waterproof film over the damaged skin. Active Manuka Honey contains the unique compound methylglyoxal that provides a special natural antibacterial function able to inhibit many infectious bacteria. Honey has a well established reputation as an antibacterial agent. Its traditional use in many countries has been rediscovered with an added unique effect. This antibacterial quality is beneficial for topical application and may also control the bacterial invasion of damaged skin. Directions Apply directly to the affected area, forming a waterproof film. No dressing is usually needed. The perfect product for healing wounds .
I used this to help heal the results of a wire injury on my horses leg and it was incredibley affective , the injury healed quickly without any infection occurring and no proud flesh on the injury site.I will now always have a tube in my veterinary box .
