Reflo RFL-003 Unisex Tumblers with Nozzle

These cups are extremely easy to use for my son, he’s 15 and has cerebral palsy so his orofacial muscles and swallowing reflex aren’t as strong as an able bodied person. These cups are perfect because they don’t ‘look’ babyish, they can be used with or without the insert in case he has a milkshake and needs a straw (the milkshake is too thick for the insert). They are a little pricey but unfortunately many things are which are for people with disabilities. But they’re totally worth it, I have bought several sets of these cups over the past 3-4 years not because they’ve broken but so that we have enough and so that we can leave one at the houses of friends/family so we don’t always need to take one. I’m really happy with the quality and just everything about them.

These cups were just what I was looking for. I do feel that they are overpriced for what they are though.

First of all, this is a brilliant idea, executed really well. However it's questionable whether or not the price is worth it. This cup teachers toddlers how to drink from an open top glass/cup, it releases a steady amount of liquid allowing the toddler to take their time and figure it out. Do not expect this to be spill free, when held at an angle the liquid will pour relatively freely, however this is also a valuable lesson for kids to learn. If you knock the glass over the drink will spill. My son picked it up pretty much immediately and can now drink a full cup with almost no spillage at all, this is after a week of use. Unfortunately the cup scratches easily due to the type of plastic it's made from, so expect teeth marks after a few uses. I'm not sure if there are cheaper alternatives to this product, I couldn't find any in my search. Overall for the purpose the cup is designed it is flawless, well constructed and well presented. The only downside for me is the cost of the cup, ideally you would want a couple to use in rotation but at nearly £20 each this seems unreasonable.

I cannot rate this cup enough as I am beyond pleased with this item. My son was always picking gup cups to drink from, but was always tipping it down himself. He's 18 months. Now he happily drinks what he needs and puts the cup down, then carries on with what he was doing.

Good for learning toddlers , stops them getting soaking wet!

They are great for kids who spill their drinks because you can catch it early with only a small amount spilled

The cup is expensive I think, but honestly it works great. Great learning tool and the perfect toddler size. Love it.

We've had this cup for a while now. My daughter still uses it without the insert. When we first bought it, she was still learning to drink from a normal cup without spilling her drink all over her face. When the insert is firmly placed inside the cup, it allows a small amount of liquid through the outside ridges allowing the child a sufficient amount to drink while they hone their motor skills. I would liken this cup to the 360 degree sippy cups, except the child isn't sucking on it. It's a normal cup that restricts flow. It is dishwasher safe, looks exactly like the image shown, and is the right size for small hands. As long as you press the lid in firmly, it does not fall out while the toddler drinks. I've loved this cup and how simple yet effective it has been. I have recommended it to other moms as well.
