This is surprising high quality. It is a little bit pricey, but I've had my eye on it for a while now. I ordered it from overseas right before the Tarif's hit and they never shipped it. Bought another one for 1/2 the price but again overseas and they never shipped and refunded my money like the first attempt. When I saw it here on amazon I had to get it. I am really pleased with the tent. It is extremely high quality. The setup is as expected with an instant tent. You unfold and an it is up. Super easy setup. I was pleased to see that all the legs locked into place with no effort at all. I have a few instant tents that you have to wrestle to get the last leg to lock into place. No issues with this tent. All the legs extended and locked without any effort on my part. The rain fly is seriously heavy-duty fabric. I think it might make the inside a little dark, but I've only set it up to be sure I had all the pieces and it wasn't damaged in shipping. The rain fly went extremely easy as well. It is heavy enough it stays in place while you shift and pull it over the tent. Was the easiest I have ever been able to get a rain fly on a tent by myself. I'm a 64 year old female and this thing is a breeze. The zippers to attach the screen room are heavy duty - nice quality zippers. Inside zippers are not the same heavy-duty zippers but I am sure they are adequate. I love that the rain fly has windows to let in the light. If it is not pouring down rain - you can open them and let the light in. As this was just a trial set up - I didn't open them all. Looking forward to taking this for a trip in the rain to see if it is as waterproof as others say. Lots of room inside for a queen bed and a table and chairs. Take down was just as easy as setup. It folded back just as small as when it came out of the bag. Because the rainfly is so large - it is a bit of a challenge to get it all back in the bag. I started over and put the rain fly on the bottom first and then the tent on top to push the air out of the tarp. That worked and the tent, rainfly, and screen room are all back in the bag. Again I am super pleased with this purchase. This is a high quality tent that I expect to last for years. I'll update if I get some rain. Update bonus feature. The rain fly is so thick there are no shadows at night. !! Serious nobody can see you moving around if the rain fly is on - blocks all the light so no silhouettes.

Lifelong camper here. Got the 8 person with the half screen room and this is the best large tent I’ve ever had. Ever. Since when did the outdoor industry decide quality gear is for backpackers only and anyone with a family gets a crappy, basic pop-up with half a leaky rainfly? (Thanks for nothing REI… joking, love you. But for real, big families play outside too.) This unicorn of a tent brings rugged, real world performance to families and car campers. It has thick, durable material, waterproof seams, glow in the dark zipper pulls, a covered and screened in front porch(!!), quality stakes and style! We got caught in a wild surprise thunderstorm when festival camping with 70mph winds and torrential downpours. The awning poles came down (but didn’t bend!), they ripped out some bungees and put a hole through the screen room before we got them down. But I zipped the rainfly to the ground, doubled up my guy lines and our tent was one of the few left standing the next morning. We had ZERO leaks anywhere and no damage to any of the stuff inside the tent. Family glamping or bougie festival: obviously. Surviving the winds at base camp on an Everest expedition: surprisingly possible. Need to know: -I can set this up by myself. The inner tent is easy peasy but the rainfly can be a struggle. -You need a second bag. I don’t know how they fit it into one in the first place but zero chance it all goes back in. Which is fine because… -It is HEAVY. Inner tent in one bag and rainfly, poles and stakes in the other. Still heavy. -The version I got only comes with 3 tarp poles but 6 are needed to set it up fully with the awnings out. -You can have the awning or a blackout tent, not both. Naturehike: Really wish there was a way to sleep in without having to take down the awning every night. -Comes with a room divider and two doors, but both doors are on the same end so you’ll step over your friend’s bed or gear getting to the other side. -Chinese company, so be prepared to figure out the setup on your own if it’s not your language. There were pictures for the inner tent but nothing about the awning and screen room. They do have good customer service and a warranty, but some things get lost in translation. Overall, I highly recommend!

Really great tent all around, it's packed with features and feels durable. I'm excited to use it for many years.

Great tent. Just to short. I'm 5'11". If it was 7ft+ this tent would be one of the best.

I have such mixed feelings. We’ve been happy with several Nature Hike products, so I’m sad to not be experiencing complete satisfaction. We received the tent and were so excited to set it up and camp out in our backyard. As we were unpacking everything and starting to set up the base tent part, we noticed that one of the tabs at the top frame was more than halfway torn off. For a tent this expensive, damage that severe literally out of the box is not cool at all. Then, the leg at the same point as the torn tab would not flex to open. We tried to gently coax it and realized it had been assembled incorrectly. We were able to pop the foot off to correct the leg positioning, but that wasn’t going to help the torn tab. We kicked off a return and ordered a new one. Assembling the new one, there were no torn tabs, but TWO legs were assembled incorrectly. We fixed these and went over the tabs pretty carefully to make sure nothing was torn. We didn’t notice any issues. We just camped with it for the third time, and I found a small tear near the floor directly below where the light button is. It’s a small tear, about 1/2”, and not through all of the fibers, but bad enough. The tent is great, though. Like really great. It’s super heavy, but that’s to be expected with these. I (F47) am able to carry it myself with some just slightly awkward waddling. We went with the 8-person with screen room. It takes a few minutes to sort out the pieces for the screen room. I’m not sure how often we will use it, but it is a cool feature. It’s nice to have a space to be dry before stepping into the tent plus a covered area to keep shoes that isn’t fully outdoors. We really like the awnings all around but wish it came with more poles. We have a couple of sets of the elephant brand poles, and those are amazing. The awnings are not great when it’s raining, but there are some mostly internal options for protecting from light rain. Overall, we are happy with this. It’s plenty spacious for us (2-3 people and two dogs. We like to have room to move around. It’s great to be able to stand up and walk around inside. We have a couple of foldable tables and chairs by Nature Hike and love those products. I feel like quality has been shoddy for this tent, with two incorrectly assembled and damaged tents. We will patch the hole in the second one and move on because the positives outweigh the negatives, and I don’t want to try to exchange again. The next one might have worse damage. If you go for it, just check it over really carefully to look for torn tabs around the frame. If you have legs assembled so they can’t open, you can pop the rubber foot off (it takes some effort!), get the leg set up correctly, then pop the foot back on.
