Packing Was Not Securely Closed and Raises Questions of Quality and Safety
When I opened the Amazon package, every box seal was broken and 1 box was smashed. The smashed box is more understandable during transportation, but every seal on each box seems suspicious to me. This would have been less of a concern if the tea bags inside were in a completely all around sealed package, but they are in a plastic package that can easily be unsealed and resealed (see photos). I am questioning if this product is safe and if the quality is authentic. It’s a more pricy type of green tea and worth it if its actually the type of green I thought I purchased. Also, there are no returns on this product which is upsetting when I’d rather not risk my health by consuming products with compromised packing. There is sealed packing on food and drink packages for a reason. I also question the reviews on this product based on my own real personal experience. It seems strange to be sent opened food/beverage items and I am surprised that no one else has reported this experience. Better to just purchase this tea from a nearby grocery store. Very disappointed since I was looking forward to drinking this as a swap for my coffee habit.
