I purchased this product to store barbecued meats overnight and, after a few modifications, it has proven effective.The built-in thermostat is fairly inaccurate, so I recommend using an external wired probe thermometer to ensure your desired temperature is set accurately.I also encountered wild temperature swings, fluctuating up to 25 degrees Fahrenheit above and below the set temperature. Placing a 12" x 12" pizza stone over the heating element at the bottom helped stabilize the temperature significantly. However, this may limit the use of the bottom shelf, though it's not ideal to place items directly over the heating element anyway.I used high-temperature gasket tape around the door to prevent heat loss and maintain a stable temperature, which can be found on Amazon by searching for "smoker gasket heat tape".A positive note is that this unit can hold a 21" x 13" aluminum tray, unlike other units at this price point.Despite these drawbacks, with the right adjustments, this product can be a valuable addition to your kitchen appliances.

Purchased this for holding smoked meats at 150 degrees constant for my husband.This product has been incapable of maintaining temperature as the dial temp and read temp are extremely inaccurate. After two uses it constantly blows the breakers wherever we plug it in at. After searching online, it appears this company doesn’t exist because we can’t find a website, any warranty info or parts to fix it.This will be the last product we ever buy from PYY.

The first one I got did not work, call and was told to send it back, at the same time they put in replacement order, got it in about five days, put it to the test the next day, it work fine for my brisket, great little hotbox

Update: Customer support contacted me about the issues I was having with this unit and we were able to rectify my problem. PYY customer support is top notch.

Used once and so far so good. Holds temperature well.

Had a small issue but was resolved quickly by customer support.I am using to hold bbq for my business.

This does NOT fit 1/1 or "four full size pans".
