The Tivedo LED Desk Lamp dimmable was designed by Sebastian Bergne and Alberto Meda for the manufacturer Luceplan. Specialising mainly in household items, British designer Sebastian Bergne brings a problem-solving, functional approach to his projects. Three time winner of the Compasso d'Oro, Alberto Meda is a freelance dancer who has worked for many well-known Italian brands. He has curated numerous exhibitions at prestigious venues such as New York's Museum of Modern Art and the Milan Triennale, and he has also conducted lectures and seminars all around the world.Made from lightweight injection-moulded polycarbonate in a choice of glossy finishes, the Tivedo LED Desk Lamp dimmable from Luceplan combines sleek, minimalist looks with high functionality. The light source is an extremely energy efficient LED with a working lifespan of over 5 years, set into a 8.1cm wide head with a convenient T-shaped grip and a state of the art thermoplastic heat sink. By adjusting the head, the arms of the lamp can be manoeuvred smoothly and efficiently using linkages similar to those on a pantograph device. Standing 44.5cm in height, the Tivedo LED Desk Lamp dimmable makes a stylish, practical addition to desks and workstations.
