Work for edema & cellulitis.
I have bought two pairs of these shoes for two people. The first pair was ordered for an individual with special needs. He isn't able to tie his shoes and his feet are swollen and painful. These shoes worked perfectly. They are well made, slip resistant, easy to slip on an off and are sized correctly. The second pair was for an elderly lady with severe edema in her ankles and feet. Again, these fit well, offered comfort, and are sized properly.

Good Quality, Very Comfortable
My husband had knee surgery and we were looking for an easy-to-wear, sturdy shoe that would accommodate swelling. A year later, he still chooses these shoes to wear every day. He says thy are extremely comfortable and makes him feel more stable on his feet. They are durable and they have held up remarkable well. They look attractive and not like "orthopedic" shoes. Highly recommend.

Extra toe room, great value.
These 82 year old feet are breathing easy with plenty of toe room. These 10 xx wide fitville shoes run true to size with room to spare for wool socks or inserts. The soles have no elongated holes in the heels to cause heel edge pressure. They contact the ground in a comfortable and stable way. I heartily recommend these shoes as a comfortable value, well worth the price. They compare favorably to orthofeet, new balance and orthocomfoot extra wide shoes.

Very easy to put on with no adjustment needed
My husband needs to wear a AFO and it is very difficult to put it in the shoe. I used to cut open the shoe and attach Velcro so that I can close the opening after the AFO and his foot is inside the shoe. This shoe open widely and I do not need to make any adjustment for AFO. It is exactly the same way of how I cut open the shoe to fit the AFO but it is so much nicer.

Best shoes for post-op, not just diabetes
Easy fit! If feet swell, we can adjust the tightness. My husband is not diabetic, but these shoes work very well for our needs. I can easily get them on and off his feet. He is post-op a major chest surgery and cannot bend over to get shoes off and on. You might advertise these for post-op patients. Patients who have had or need back, neck, chest, or abdominal surgery would find this type of shoe very helpful to remain compliant with post-op activity orders! Thank you! Good and Bad
My foot is basically a size 10 4E. These shoes are wide enough (ThankYou for that) however the tonge piece is too tall and too narrow. It rubs on the front of my ankle. Also in order to be in the Velcro where they attach on the sides. It is a trade off between being too tight or not closing on the sides. So i opted for too tight around my ankle and use a long shoe horn to get my foot/feet in. They are comfortable to stand in. Walking they seem to slip around a bit. Maybe I just needed to get used to that part. Definitely no good for walking across wet grass. They are very light weight
