This is the non-stick pan you're looking for (two year review)
After having this pan for two years and reading some of the one-star reviews, I decided to leave a review of my own in order to dispel some false notions. As someone who relies on reviews a lot, I really dislike it when customers leave one-star reviews because they misused or even abused the product. And many of the one-star reviews I saw were clearly the customer's fault and not the pan's. I also read through some of the Q/A and saw some fairly egregious misinformation, which I will also address. 1. If you use this pan properly, the surface will NOT get scratched or nicked. The pictures of pans with scratches and nicks are from people who cooked with tools made of metal or hard plastic. The only material you should use to cook on non-stick surfaces is SILICONE. It is both soft and highly resistant to heat. I've been using a silicone spatula for two years and my pan's surface is virtually unscathed. 2. If you use this pan properly, the surface will not stain. The pictures of pans with stains on them is from carbon deposits that only form when food is exposed to really high temperatures for extended periods of time. I actually did this to another non-stick pan I own from the same company. I walked away while I was cooking bacon and forgot I left it there. Came back and the bacon was burnt to hell, which left some black stains on the pan's surface. Those black stains are carbon deposits. Harmless, but unsightly. At any rate, it was entirely my fault, not the pan's. 3. Yes, you can cook with this pan in the oven. No, the handle grip will not melt or deform if you put it in the oven unless you crank the heat WAY up. The handle grip is made from silicone, which, as I mentioned earlier, is highly heat resistant. One of the main reasons silicone is used in cooking is because it doesn't melt or deform under high temperatures. I've only tested the pan up to 350 degrees F (177 C), so I cannot vouch for anything beyond that. But I can tell you that most silicone is rated to withstand temperatures between 390 F (200 C) and 446 F (230 C). 4. There is no need to wash this pan with soap or to put it in a dish washer. As long as you rinse it out while it's still hot, the pan basically cleans itself. Whatever is left inside the pan will simply slide out along with the water. Then dry it with something soft, like a cloth or paper towel. If there is still a thin layer of oil on the pan after you rinse and dry it, don't worry about it. It will not hurt the pan or you. What am I basing this on? Two years of using the pan almost every day. And the pan has performed nearly perfectly throughout the entire time and shows little sign of degrading. The only real issue I've encountered so far is that food can sometimes stick to the metallic rivets that hold the handle in place, but that is the only real problem I've encountered so far, and it's a relatively easy problem to deal with. Overall, the pan has been fantastic. As long you understand how to take care of non-stick cookware and how to use it, this pan will serve as a workhorse in your kitchen for years and years to come.

Cooks evenly and cleans up easily
Great value for the price. Get the lid, too, and maybe replace a couple of silicone implements, just for the cheer of cooking with new tools. All for less than $50. We have been using this as a multi-purpose skillet in a specific scenario w limited cooking facilities for a couple of months. I’m not sure about durability or performance if we blast the temp up high (not recommended for any nonstick, anyway). What I do know is we have even heat distribution and wonderful nonstick. We’ve actually bought two of these, one after acknowledging we needed a new non-stick skillet and another after our kitchen was quickly dismantled and packed away following a water leak under the floor. We’ve been using it several times a week on a portable induction cooktop in our temporary housing and have been pleased. It happens to be induction-compatible, but fine w other burners as far as I know. When our house is back in order, I’m passing this along to a friend who cooks little and doesn’t have a decent skillet in the house. After deciding our existing 10” All-Clad was ready for retirement, I read a NYT wirecutter skillet review and thought we’d give it a try. This inexpensive skillet was their favorite induction compatible, so we just waited a couple of months til it was back in stock. Perhaps it won’t last as long as the $200 biggie acanpan or all-clad, but we handle the nonstick skillets properly and we’ll see. (Yes, I know the Cooks Illustrated fav AC has a “lifetime” guarantee, but it appears some kitchen helper or guest used metal utensils, which zaps the warranty.) Other users have emphasized that instructions recommend against high heat. I use induction so this is not an issue for me, but keep in mind that no nonstick pan is recommended for high heat, nor are you going to produce a fond for certain cooking applications. It’s not cast iron, stainless, or carbon steel, any of which you can blast away for stir fry, browning, or pop in the oven. It didn’t require seasoning like those either, so there are always trade offs. My dream skillet is probably one of those $400 blue steel hand-forged ones from Seattle, but this is just right for a multi-purpose nonstick pan. NOTE: I recommend you buy the glass lid at the same time. I’ve always been sorry we didn’t do that when we bought other expensive pans, mainly because I’m always trying to figure a lid fit when I need one.

Buy this pan! NO REGRETS!
I had no idea what it was like to have a good frying pan. I have NO WORDS! Except for the following: This is one of my favorite things I've ever purchased! I can't wait to cook with it every night! I prep all my food, and the moment I realize it's time to get the pan, I glide over to the pantry like a Disney princess and feel actual love every time I see it there, ready for anything. I have used it even when I know I have too much stuff for the size of this pan just because I love using it! First of all, the clean up. What clean up? This pan basically cleans itself! I scrambled eggs on it and by the time I was done eating, the egg remains that are usually encrusted to the bottom --even on other non stick pans!-- literally flake right off! Obviously, I still wash with soap, but it is visibly clean without a drop of water! Second of all, way way less oil! I haven't tried it yet, but I'd wager I could cook anything on here without a drop of oil and it would cook fine without sticking. Everything I use oil with basically just pushes the oil away and slides around beautifully without it. Much healthier! Let's also not forget about how stunningly beautiful it is! I was looking for a non teflon pan, and if you read the other comments there's some dispute about this. Seems to me that this is better than a teflon pan, but not quite as safe as say, ceramic. The directions clearly state this pan is not to be used over med-high, where degradation begins and safety is compromised, but it's fine since supposedly the pan conducts heat better and actually can be used at lower temps than recipes call for. I have tried this in small degrees to test out and haven't had any problem keeping the temp down a tad. I will continue to lower and see how it does, but being new to cooking, I'm already scared enough to mess up, so straying from recipes scares me a little! I will for sure eventually purchase additional sizes of this pan and replace all my old teflon ones. For now, this has been super diverse and literally surpassed my expectations beyond my wildest imagination!

Love this pan!
I have been researching pans ever since we watched the movie "Dark Waters" and learned about the dangers of teflon. Seems like every pan had a draw back. I finally settled on this pan and one from Italy. We just started using it after we washed and seasoned it with olive oil. Heated nicely. Did fresh hash browns and the starch of the potatoes did not stick at all. Fried eggs and they slid right out. It is a beautiful pan, nice weight. I can't speak to longevity as we just got it, but so far we love it! Update: After 14 months of using this pan daily, sometimes multiple times per day, it is starting to show wear. We only use silicone or plastic utensils, never cook on high, and hand wash. The coating is starting to fleck which is disappointing, but honestly after a year of solid daily use, I feel we got our money's worth out of this pan. It is everyone's favorite pan to use. Food cooks evenly, eggs never stick... it's just a great pan! High sides allow you to cook stir fry and sauce based dishes without spillage, amply large to cook a family dinner, but not so large it's hard to handle or wash. We love this pan and will happily buy another one!

lovely item....but READ for temp limitations!!!
I gave one star less than perfect b/c of the following.....although not said ahead of time, when received it clearly stated to NOT heat higher than "medium" heat setting on stove. If you do NOT read the entire instruction booklet (I'm a dork and ALWAYS read), you may miss this. which means....any recipe followed that says heat on medium-high or high heat, will not be as said. so def make note of this! i am one that follows recipes to the exact as far as settings and times, etc. so after using tonight and following the "only medium heat" setting, i realized i had to adjust a bit. the times are not the same, which forced me to actually look at the food. when a recipe says "brown veggies", I need to see they are "browned" vs following a time b/c most recipes call for "medium-high" heat so all needs to be adjusted. For me, this is a good thing b/c it forces me to actually be more "in tuned" to what is going on vs just following a timer. so as long as that is considered, the pan itself cooked items ON POINT and tender and i was so so so happy w/ this evening's dinner. super non stick and SUPER easy to clean. very very pleased. i did also realize, though, some of my recipes call for "bringing something to a boil" in the large pan and for this, again, it can only be on medium heat so perhaps not the best to use for that. being that it is intended to be a "universal" large pan and used as a "go to", one would need to use something else to "boil" such as for sauces or the like. for me, i DO have other pans i can use for those times so overall this is a great addition to my kitchen and i am super happy.

It lives up to the hype! Long lasting quality!
This is the real deal folks! It is truly nonstick! I have tried cooking sorts of dishes in this pan and nothing sticks. It is so nonstick that when you are stirring sauces in this pan, you can see the bottom of the pan cleanly. It is almost hydrophobic! Eggs slide right out! Fish browns nicely and the pan wipes clean! Cheese, no problem. It is so slippery, that sometimes you have a tough time getting the spatula or spoon under the food without the food sliding across the pan! as for how it cooks and how its made, top notch as well! My primary cookware is a set of Wolfgang Puck Commercial Stainless Steal pans that I have now had for over 15 years. This pan is as well made as those commercial grade pans. It is heavy stainless steel on the bottom ,and heats very evenly and quickly. This pan also retains heat like a good heavy pan should. So turn off your heat when your eggs look 2/3 way done. There is plenty of heat remaining in the pan to finish the job! Scrambled eggs come out perfectly fluffy and moist. Sunny side up comes out perfect, and over easy has never been easier than with this pan! Cooking ground turkey or chicken for healthy tacos is easy, as the pan heats evenly and requires no oil. You get a nice brown without the fuss of clean-up in a stainless pan. The most clean-up you'll need to do is after cooking sticky cheeses. You can simply rinse under hot running water and wipe with a soft sponge, and voila, instantly clean! No soaking required. Love this pan! Update***** After using this own for a full year, it's still amazing! No scratches, no peeling, no chipping. Still perfectly nonstick.

Best nonstick that I’ve owned
I beat up my cookware. Every kind of skillet is going to get scratches, even my stainless steel Revere Ware has had to endure my rough handling. I’m saying this to counter some of the photos that look like someone placed these in an oven and beat them with a hammer. The point of these pans is that they are “clean.” These are made without the toxic chemicals that are now showing up in all of our bodies. DuPont and other companies pimped them like they were safe. Not only are these wonderful to cook with, the important thing I noticed is that scrambled eggs and crepes taste amazing. They are fluffy and taste better then when I cook them on stainless steel. I love them. I do want them to last so I don’t use metal spatulas on them, but I do put them in the dishwasher. I attached a picture. The large 10 inch one I’ve had for a year. The small 8 inch one I just got. The older one looks pretty good to me. I assume it will last a while as long as I don’t use a crowbar to flip my crepes.

Phenomenal Pan - quality, aesthetics and craftsmanship!
I bought this pan (in the10in size) for use as an egg/omelette pan and it’s phenomenal! Have been using this pan for about 4 months now with no issues. I’m a little thrown off by some of the negative comments on here. Some picture posted seem as if the person used abrasive scrubbers to clean which is a huge No on any pan, with the exception of cast iron. This is NOT a Teflon coated pan. It is a non-stick pan which uses a natural stone-derived coating on an aluminum base. It conducts heat Beautifully thanks to the aluminum base. This is not a problem for those who fear heavy metal toxicity from aluminum cookware since the stone coating prevents food from coming in contact with the aluminum. I read and followed seasoning instructions prior to first use and always clean pan as instructed. I also use wooden or silicone spatulas and utensils (no metal!). My pan looks brand spanking new even after heavy use. My eggs slide off of this pan. I do use a little butter to cook my eggs because why wouldn’t you? I have never encountered any sticking. This is a true non-stick pan, if used correctly. Overall, I am beyond satisfied with this purchase. Amazon delivered quickly and pan is exactly what I wanted. I will be buying another (this time a 12inch) to serve as my designated fish and seafood pan.

feels good looks good cooks good
Really surprised and pleased with the quality of this pan as have been let down with other non toxic non stick pans previously - this pan has a lovely weight and feel to it - I like the style of the handle and the way it is attatched - pan feels sturdy and does not curve upwards in the middle - nice flat base. Arrived with handy protectibe mat for use when storing so not to damage surface which was nice extra. Have only used 3 times as yet but am pleased to say nothing has stuck. I bought this mainly for eggs as my other eco pans are terrible for them - this has worked well so far

Extremely non-stick!
I was sceptical about just how "non-stick" it would be, but it exceeded my expectations. With minimal oil (<1/4 teaspoon dripped on, wiped around and excess removed) whatever I cook in it slides right off.
