Fair price at $16! I got this Santa Hat with a Plush Beard for Christmas, and it's pretty cool. The material is surprisingly soft, and I can't wait for my brother to wear it on Christmas Day. It doesn't feel cheaply made, and the colors are vivid and bright, which is nice. I think it's the kind of hat you can use again and again every Christmas. Oh what fun!! This thick heavy duty crocheted type hat is very well-made and is absolutely adorable. The beard and mustache representing Santa is very soft. I really like that you can detach the beard and mustache for handwashing if needed. It is very easy to put on and take off the beard by two buttons and two loops. I would say I have an average size head and face and this fits me perfectly. I think this is a great idea and a lot of fun besides after the holidays you can wear the hat without the beard and be toasty warm. I really like this hat a lot .

I didn't think the mustache and beard would reach my lip and chin, but with just a little stretching, it did, and it held quite nicely there without drooping for the rest of the night. The hat is fairly well-made for a seasonal object, and the mustache and beard are made of a thick wooly felt or fabric that will not disintegrate.I deducted a star because, I can't put my finger on it, but somehow, this hat made me look ugly. Maybe I just AM ugly, but I usually have a pretty good head for hats, and it's rare that I put one on and think I look ugly in it. It's probably just me, but thought it was worth mentioning. If it's purely for fun, then go for it. This is a well-made item that works properly and won't fall apart on you.
