A good truss screw, but cheaper and with a nicer reusable and durable container
I use a lot of truss screws on the farm. These are cheaper, and with a nicer box, than from HD or Lowes. The quality of the screw itself looks normal compared to the other brands that I've used. If it screws stuff together and doesn't cam-out while screwing it in with a power driver, I'm happy. The durable plastic box with a latch is a bonus.

Donโt get screwed by the big box companies. Buy these.
This was so much easier than trying to purchase from the big box stores. I didnโt have to worry about employees, not tending to me. Additionally, and probably most importantly the screws seem to be of decent quality and they are packaged well and so far they work as they should. I am glad I ordered these in both the silver finish and in the black finish because I have many projects that I will work on, and I will definitely be ordering more of these in the future, perhaps in other sizes as well.

Drill a Pilot Hole Before Driving These Screws
Regarding ease of use, I definitely recommend drilling a small pilot hole before driving these black wood screws. After trying to drive them with and without pilot holes, the pilot holes made a huge difference in keeping the alignment straight (90 degrees to the wood) and on-center. I used both a manual screwdriver and an impact driver with a Philips head attachment. The stainless steel was durable, and I did not have any stripped screw heads. The 3/4" inch size was exactly what I needed (attaching 1/8" to 1/4" furring strips to a wood bookcase). I cannot speak to their rust resistance, as this was an interior project. The main thing is to drill a pilot hole, as it was difficult to drive these screws straight in on-center without that guide. Cosmetically, these screws look wonderful, but practically, their short length and thickness makes them challenging to drive by hand on virgin wood.

Good but fine thread
These are good for some things. I used them on my card foot grip and they're starting to rust. I used them on birdhouse and they're starting to pull out. I think they're good for the right usage but not by me. Looks great and value was good
