BQ F000121 3D Printer Filament, PLA, 1.75 mm, 300 g, Ash grey

I'm new to 3D printing so don't have a lot of experience with different filament but this is definitely a lot stiffer than the two other brands I have tried. It bends tightly without snapping though, so seems fresh. Another minor difference is that the filament is very shiny. Although it is delivered boxed it is shrink-wrapped, so there is no plastic bag to store it in. Personally I'd prefer a bag and no box! The box has a cutout window so maybe it is possible to pull the filament out of the window and use the box instead of a reel holder.The stiffness was a bit of a problem for me. My printer has a Bowden extruder feed and a mod to put a reel holder on top. There is a pulley wheel on the side to guide the filament and the BQ filament was catching on the pulley bracket until I turned it upside down. (Not easy mid-print.)According to my digital calipers the filament measured between 1.76 and 1.79mm, with most measurements at 1.78mm. Other filaments measure around 1.74 so I think these measurements are reasonably accurate.

I have had no troubles with this PLA, Prints very well and seems pretty consistent with regards to size. Will likely buy again to rty various colours.
