I bought two for grandkids to play with and they loved them.

Bought for all my Grandsons for Christmas and it was a real hit! Ages 5-12. Family fun!

To work, charge, turn on, hold it in your hand, move it up and down, and watch it take off. That is the simplified version of what to do.You will need to practice using this toy inside before bringing it outside. There are instructions (both pictures and words) to learn tricks. This will take some patience, practice, and time.I definitely knocked it into a few walls. 😁. This would be best used by child outdoors in a wide open space with no traffic.It is very colorful, eye-catching, and makes a cool whirling sound. I honestly enjoyed playing with it.I agree with the suggested age range of 6+ years old. I would not go any younger because it requires practice and some level of safety when using it.It needs to be charged before using. It charged fine with no issues. The cord is short.There are stickers included that are unnecessary. I am not really sure where you would put them. I think they would just get in the way.- PROS - Cool mini-drone toy; good for outdoors; colorful; cool whirling noise; good age range; instructions included- CONS - Practice, time, and patience required; may knock into a few walls inside; charging cord short; stickers unnecessary- OVERALL - This is a cool mini-drone outdoors toy that requires some time, patience, and practice.Thank you for reading my review!

It does take a little learning curve. But, once practiced it is very fun. Works as described. Best played outside on soft areas.

That it was a gift that he loved

The is a neat idea but it really doesn’t work as the ads suggest. This isn’t a long running drone and its floating ability is limited. It was interesting for my youngest but it was made of such fragile plastic, it broken quickly. So I cannot recommend it as a gift, not even for a stocking stuffer. Maybe next years version will live up to the idea.

The media could not be loaded.  Gotta be honest I think this is going to take some practice, but I admit I can't really throw a ball or catch a Frisby either. In fact everyone else ducks when I try either! So it could very well just be me, because it ends up on the floor every time I try it. But I will tell you that it is very light weight and spins super fast. The lights are beautiful especially in the dark! It's not real loud, doesn't hurt if it accidentally hits some one or thing so it seems safe around kids and pets as well. You charge it right on top just spin the grate out of the way. I'm pretty sure this thing can do everything it's supposed to if someone more skilled than me tried so I will find out when the grand kids come and figure it out better, like they always do. But the light effects are really pretty, has not broke or cracked yet after many throws, about the size of a really big grapefruit. Looks like it's made well enough to last for its intended purpose. I only took one star off because it is harder than is advertised to master, but after all, isn't the challenge part of the fun? So as of now I will say that I do recommend this and it's very giftable to the right person, I would not suggest it for a child that's very easily frustrated if that is a personal concern, just my honest opinion.
