These took a little while to arrive and were quite pricey - but what price do you put on the safety of your hands? So, I took the plunge and ordered them. I confess to being disappointed. Whilst they do protect from the heat, I have found them to be excessively large and stiff - so I worry that I haven't got a good enough grip of the pan or tray. To be honest, I think these are best suited to men who enjoy barbecue-ing rather than ladies that bake/cook in a kitchen.

I was looking for the all cloth quilted ones from long ago. I went with these instead and really like them. They are thin enough to let me grab my pans easily, but I feel no heat. When food gets on them I will be able to rinse them off.
