This food grade, edible glitter dust powder spray from DecorRom comes in different colors. At the time of writing this review, copper and silver were available. I decided to try out the silver version which is a metallic colored glitter. The powder has no smell or taste, and is considered a food additive product for coloring. You can use it to add a metallic finish to cake, icing, cookies, chocolate and other baked goods. You can even use it in drinks ! I appreciate the fact that the actual ingredients are listed on the box. These ingredients are approved for use as an additive in food, for the purpose of coloring. It is apparently safe to consume in foods as long as not consumed in excess. I see many of the comments here mention that it sprays in clumps. Keep in mind that this is not a pressurized spray which provides a continuous spray. Instead, you will have to spray in clumps and somehow manually apply and spread it out on the surface you are using it on. Think of it like applying thermal paste and spreading to even it out :) Of course this would be possible only if the surface applied on is hard enough, so this is something that is manageable if applying on cookies or cake with a hard icing surface. This product works as intended as is useful if you need it for specific occasions where you want to decorate with this specific finish. In order for the surface to look like the images shown in the listing you will need to manually spread it yourself after spraying. Of course this is not to say that I would have liked for it to be provided as a pressurized continuous spray, however with a bit of creativity, it is still possible to use this product and get the results shown.

Soooo It works but...it make a HUGE glittery mess. Only spray cakes outdoors or the entire room and yourself will be utterly covered in glitter. Or try a different application.

Glitter sprays in clumps. Ruined a batch of cookies and I can’t even return the product.

Love the product!!! Great value, easy to use

This is supposed to mist the glitter but it just shoots it out in streams. If you’re looking for even coverage this item will mess up your product and leave you with puddles of glitters
