Always use this paint for furniture projects. Easy to apply dried within 30 mins . You don't need to sand or strip the furniture just paint. I always wax after as it helps protect it , if your going to varnish after don't use a heavy varnish as it's hard to paint over .This TV unit was glossed when I got it and took 2 coats with a brush and it came up great.

Brilliant, arrived very quickly, painted a nest of tables that I always hated because they were dark and broody but this brought them to life, they've been in the loft for 30yrs but now look great with a large lamp on them. They were stained black but with only two coats of this paint and only a minimal bit of sanding preparation they look really good, it covers well and dries quickly to a lovely matt finish. Trying very hard to resist the temptation not to paint load of other things.

Having previously painted the furniture in Annie Sloan chalk paint I was unsure what to expect of this but it is amazing, it’s goes on well and covers great and you don’t have to wax afterwards!

I bought this paint for a big old pine chest of drawers. No prep (other than a clean) was needed. It covered beautifully, I used three coats even tho it said only two was needed but the paint goes so far!! - gorgeous colour and finish and no need for waxes or varnish.

I used this to change my bedroom furniture from DARK BROWN to COUNTRY CREAM results are amazing. I had to give it 3 coats as it was so dark.I used a small roller and then a small paint brush for difficult parts. I have now bought a tin ofDOVE GREY to use.

Very nice finish however Vintage White looks likes light grey/blue when sitting against a white emulsions wall.

This is the worst ( of any kind of paint) I have ever used!!!I bought the Ronseal brand of furniture paint as I believed it would be a quality product but was bitterly disappointed.My 1st project was to paint a small wooden coffee table. It took 4 coats & I'm still not happy with the finish.I decided to use the remainder of the paint as an undercoat to change the colour of a previously chalk painted shelf unit. I know 1st coats never look good but this just looks a mess. When I painted this particular unit the 1st time I used a different brand of chalk paint & it covered beautifully with only one coat.Now I wish I had just thrown the remainder of the Ronseal away & started afresh with the other brand. I just hope it turns out alright in the end.I can not in away way recomend this paint
