Very convenient for walkways & remote areas without AC access. Reeeeally bright white LED lighting which IMHO is best suited for security lighting but not for esthetic lighting. Seems to charge easily & provide light when needed but it's only triggered rarely for our needs so not a test for those that would use alot. Hopefully it will last longer than other solar lights we've tried.

This outdoor solar light is bright!!!! My reason for purchasing this light was so I did not have to leave 2 porch lights on for my husband when he comes home from work at night.This light detects movement on the sidewalk before he reaches the porch steps; lighting up the sidewalk, porch steps, porch and door so he can see the keyhole of the door to insert his key.We are looking forward to our next utility bill to see how much we have saved by installing this gem of a solar light.

We have a walkway that goes alongside the house. There are trip hazards on either end of it. We have tried solar lights that go into the ground and they did not last. So, we gave this a try. It is mounted just above a door, so about 7-8 feet high.Pros:- motion detector works- several settings avail- the setting for a bright light does give bright light- completely solar, no battery changesCons- the motion detector is not wide-angle, so approaching from the side we are practically on top of the light before it turns on, so though we'd prefer that it be off entirely unless triggered, we either have to have it set to be on constantly, or navigate half of the walk in the dark. If you are approaching it straight-on then that won't be an issue.I hope that this helps with your decision-making. Let me know, and happy shopping!

I like the different lighting options. I am using it to light up the fenced-in area for my dog lot. My little dog did not want to go out the doggie door after dark, and I was tired of having to go with her. It kind of defeated the whole dog door idea. Before purchasing this light, I had resigned to just leaving the back door light on all the time. What a waste of electricity, plus, during warm weather the bugs all gather outside my back door. This solar light has fixed all my lighting issues. I attached it to the fence (it's metal, so instead of the screws I just used zip ties). So now, she can have a low light to encourage her out the door, where a bright light shows her that she's safe. Plus any loitering bugs are away from my door, which makes me happy too. Also, on a note about the vendor, they reached out via email to make sure I was happy with their product. They have a wonderful customer service department. Do not hesitate to contact them if you have any difficulty getting it to work for your situation.

This was exactly what I had expected. I have had this product for a couple months now. I live in Utah and it has been wet and snowy the last week or so and the product still turns on every time (when its dark only) and operates great. I mounted it above my back door and it is about 18 feet above ground. I was worried sensor would not have enough range to detect movement. I had to turn the sensor up to the highest setting to get it to work flawless every time. Medium setting worked but not every time. It also only turns on when you want it to. not when leaves fly by but if a cat walks in its range it will still come on. This light is very bright. I shopped at the local Home Depot and Lowes first and a light comparable would have been over $100.00. I paid 47.99 ish? I am buying another for the other side of the house today.

Great light output. It comes with anchors and screws for drywall or wood. The sellers were responsive to questions.These are working modes.Solar light has 3 working modes.Mode 1: The light will remain off during the day and night but will turn on bright lights when someone walks into its proximity.Mode 2: The light will remain off during the day. During the night, the light will remain dim and will turn bright when someone walks into its proximity.Mode 3: The light will remain off during the day. During the night, the light will remain dim and will not get brighter when someone walks into its proximity.

I bought this for my old dog. She has problems seeing the bottom steps at night when she goes out to potty.Seems sturdy and hopefully it will last a long time.. Thanks

This light is perfect for my need. The white color of plastic housing blends in nicely with the white 8"x8" post that I mounted the light on. The light blends in nicely and you barely notice it during the day. I use this light to provide a little bit of lighting on a dark side of my house. I put it in "Mode 2" which the light is off during daylight hours, automatically come on in the dim mode and will switch to the bright mode for 15-30 seconds if motion is detected. The dim mode is enough light to see your way and the bright mode is quite bright. The solar charging and bettery life appears to be good too. I ordered one of these lights to check them out and based on what I saw, I ordered a second one.
