A must buy
Artwork was amazing and the writing by Scott Snyder superb, Batman court of owls cements itself well within the Noir, detective aesthetic of Batman. Great story full of shocking moments that gives a deeper meaning to Gotham city and what it means to Batman. Would 100% recommend to Batman lovers.

Great story, perfect price
A brilliant story. It is a perfect start to the New 52. The small compact size and lower price means it's perfect to start collecting and reading these stories.

Action packed Batman story
This was a fun Batman story, where Bruce is up against a group of assassins, with deep ties to Gotham. The first thing that jumps out at me in the book is how good the art is. Every page is crisp, with stunning lay outs and beautiful colouring. Capullo adds another stunning run to his already stellar career. We also have to acknowledge the excellent work by Snyder, and how this Batman run was his breakout book, with his touching Bruce and Alfred relationship, to his exciting, action packed stories. Its worth mentioning that DC's compact comics line is great too. Smaller, easier to store books, at an incredible price, are an great incentive to take a chance on a book you might not always go for. It's what encouraged me to buy and I'm pleased I did. Now you may ask, why did you only give it 4 stars then? To be fair, I can't really say for certain, but there are other books I've given 5 stars to that really did deserve it, and unfortunately, Court of Owlsdoesn't quite match up.

An amazing story in a perfect form factor
Not only is it an amazing story it's also in a perfect form factor. The DC Compact Comics line makes taking comics around with you so much easier, I can just use one of my small bags and it fits in perfectly, it's also a great size to hold and read.

Masterpiece
This is an awesome story. I don’t think I’ve read anything better. From the first page it’s hard to put it down, I had to limit myself from finishing it too quickly because of how good it was. 10/10 Would definitely read this if you haven’t already.

Intense, gripping and bloody...
This is one of the most intense, thrilling and pacy graphic novel that I have come across where Batman is battered, bruised and hurt and he fights to the pointnof exhaustion, perhaps death, to secure himself and his city. Scott Snyder has created an edge-of-the-seat stuff where the detective skills of Batman are eye catching and the the art by Capullo is great. I personally didn't like the small section where Batman fights in a labyrinth, where the reading format changes to landscape mode and then goes upside down. Perhaps that was a novel idea to show the current state of Batman but that section was a bit complex for me to comprehend. Nevertheless, this is a great Batman novel to have. This compact edition has one flaw, being small in dimension and text heavy, the fonts are very small. One may have trouble reading in lesser illuminated areas. Then again, this is a compact edition made affordable to the masses. To have this in much less than a thousand bucks gives nothing to complain about.

One of the best
One of the best Batman comics, it’s super interesting with Batman struggling throughout the comic as a result of him denying the courts existence and underestimating their power. This compact version collects the entire story and I really recommend picking it up. It came on time and in great condition.
