I love this vest. There are so many pockets! I actually lost a receipt and had to dig around to find it. It is a bit too hot to wear in the heat, but I loved it for my flights and general travel. Definitely happy I purchased this product. The quality of the vest is very good. Worth the price

I studied the reviews, researched which vest would suit my trip and decided on this one in black, in the largest woman's size (M4). I usually wear a 1X or 2X top and 2X or 3X bottoms. My hips are wide and many clothes I think should fit, don't. This fits perfectly even when I put many things in my pockets. The zippers are smooth and not very noticeable. The logo on the back of the neck isn't a big deal that others made it. It's pricey, but I think it is worth every penny. No need to carry a purse and the weight is distributed so my neck and shoulders don't hurt. And it arrived 5 days earlier than estimated!

It is absolutely the best travel vest available. I recently used it for a trip abroad and was so happy about it. It eliminates the need for a small purse as you can easily find pockets for your phone, passport, boarding passes, wallet, glasses, tissues, etc. Even stuck a few water bottles for long-haul flights into one of the outside pockets. It was so convenient to use the vest and know that you had everything on you. Easy to pass the TSA and no need to put any small items into the TSA bins that you might forget afterwards - just put my vest in there and no worries afterwards. I will surely use it agai8n as it just made you less worry about whether you had everyting and did not leave anything behind. The size seemed a bit too big in the beginning (I followed the size measurement provided on the web site), but after I stuck my vest full of items, it was fine. I have been long-haul travelling for so many years and I am really happy I found something that would help my trips a bit easier.

The Scott E Vest was recommended by friends and we were going to be doing a lot of traveling in Guatemala and didn't want to check luggage. This vest became part of traveling lighter. The PRO list includes LOTS...like it comes with a map for the pockets, and you'll still loose stuff in the pockets... LOTS of pockets. The help is going through security. Put your phone, passport, kindle, ipad and glasses in your vest and put it on the belt at airport security. That is pretty slick. The CONS list is be careful of what you wish for if you wish you had pockets, there's a lot of them. I also find the vest to be heavy. That many pockets, RFID liner, zippers give this vest some heft so adding in gadgets and gizmos makes it heavy. It was also pretty hot in a warm climate (Feb/March Guatemala City). There were days it was just too hot to use. It was great at the street festival where we didn't worry about pickpockets. Even I didn't know where my wallet was. I'm glad they sew the map into the vest. The two side pockets are big enough for a water bottle. That's nice for a lot of walking. Both my partner and I found ourselves give ourselves pat downs trying to locate the direction of the pocket in order to get out whatever it was you put in. It certainly added a lot of laughs to the trip. Our entire tour group enjoyed watching us lose and find our things.

Not inexpensive for an item not strictly necessary, but I love this vest as much as I hoped I would. It seems very well made, the zippers are invisible and work perfectly. It is fairly light weight but not flimsy. I was nervous about washing but followed instructions using cool water and waterproof cycle on my washer. I tumble dried to about half and then let it air dry. Still looks beautiful with no puckering or shrinkage. They seem to run a little small-- I am 5'8" and 180#. I purchased xxlarge as recommended and it actually fits beautifully - no binding or gaping to make me look either like a stuffed sausage or like I'm wearing a tent. Recommend following suggested sizing even though it seemed a little crazy to me. I rarely write reviews but I was on the fence about buying a travel vest (weary of spending money only to return a poorly manufactured item) but I would buy this again without hesitation.

I love this vest! Very well made but expensive. It is perfect for spring and fall dog walking but I really don’t need that many pockets.. I did initially buy it for a Viking Cruise but I was ill and did not use it😏. That being said, I will keep it forever!

A great travel vest. It is a bit heavier than normal vests. I am 132lbs and 5'3" with an athletic build but definitely not thin. Measurement wise, my hips fell into L size and the rest into M. I tried both and ultimately liked the fit of the M better. (I normally buy size S tops and size 6-8 pants.) I use my vest to have the things I want near me on the plane for for overnight and/or long flights. If I was going to stuff the pockets full, I would want the L. I could still get the M zipped with the pockets stuffed but it didn't look as good on me as the L. Since I don't plan on carrying that much stuff in my pockets, I chose the M. Both covered my backside. I can even wear my vest under my winter coat for extra warmth if needed. You do need to give some thought to what you want to keep into which pockets so you don't have to keep checking all of them!

Pros: lots of pockets Cons: absolutely no taste. If you don’t mind broadcasting to everyone you are a frumpy and sloppy American wear this. It just fits the stereotypes perfectly. Huge and shapeless. And really, a $200 vest which is so ugly. I chose small but it was more like XL. If you are slim and athletic or a small person it’s not for you. I ended up choosing an athletic vest instead with deep pockets (from a Chinese brand) which was much cheaper and stylish although it didn’t have as many pockets or zippered inside pockets. But at least it will be useable for many different occasions including travel and not make me stand out like a ridiculous tourist.

This one is quite heavy when empty. Lots of pockets. The outside fabric looks like it could easily snag. Other vests from this company have YKK zips. Not this one. I picked this one because it's longer and shaped nicely at the back. This will likely be returned. Because of its weight and the exterior fabric, which I'm not keen on.

For the price, I expected great quality, however the fabric "pills" and doesn't look good... it wears too quickly! The design and functionality of the vest is excellent. I like the vest. Its comfortable and practical.
